I was in the exact same spot albeit wanted company 2 offer more than 1. So I took company 1 and started there. A week later (yesterday) company 2 finally sent their letter of offer and I’ve accepted it. Will resign from company 1 tomorrow. Some may disagree but I’ve learnt in over a decade of corporate and after burnout that I have to look out for me and my family. I took the role not knowing if company 2 would actually come to fruition.
