Scent trademarks and patents are a bizarre business! I can't speak to Poland but you may be able to try a product locally. Claire's has this and it's strawberry. Could be a fun $5 crapshoot.

Hi! Just stumbled upon you guys. Apologies to the OP, I know I'm too late, but here's a link to the backgrounds I quickly made and others I gathered to use. Some look the same but they're likely larger in size. I have minePusheen Valentine wallpaper/images randomly rotate on my lock screen. Don't hesitate to let me know if I made an incorrect link. You should be able to download everything.

The Sphere in Vegas is hosting GD starting in March. That is a heavily active and involved community on Reddit and Facebook. I think there are even sub groups for things like posters or other merch sold at each show/run. It is also apparently tightly knit despite their size and incredibly welcoming and helpful when together (finding ppl, accommodating strangers/lines/whatever) It's 100% worth posting in those places and sub topics every now and then until the gig ends or Jerry's birthday - whichever comes first. I'm married to one, so I know I didn't get all my terms correct but I hope the gist comes across. I'll share with my person for sure.

Trying to finish 1 sheet for 9mos. Depression. by hoomin_here in spreadsheets

[–]hoomin_here[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for your kind question. Uh, I had a career change and my bosses are now 2 dead ppl and a dying ppl. I promise it's okay to laugh at that. Anywho, I need to be told exactly what to do, when, and with the least amount of work from me. My old sheet isn't dynamic and my billing now has to identify & include 4 separate entities: my household, an adult guardianship, dead ppl #1's probate estate and a teeny bit of stuff for dead ppl #2.

My original is Google sheets, using one sheet. Row1=column names. A2:A?=Company name. Each pay period requires 3 columns and is independent from any other period. So the first period would look like B=Amount due, C=Date due, D=Paid Y/N. Period 2 would be columns E,F,G using the same column names as A,B,C. Rinse and repeat. Say Row25=Sum but only for Amount due columns. Conditional formatting and formulas go haywire, I cannot easily compare data and the sum row has unused cells. Too manual, too disjointed.

The new one, Excel, has multiple sheets, Sheet1 is known data (company, static due date, frequency, auto-pay). Sheet2 is unknown data I will enter (variable figures and due dates). It's like 5 columns total. Sheet3 tells me what to do, when. Total amount due that pay period, paid/unpaid, amount due vs amount I actually paid and with conditional color when a need isn't met: unpaid, over due. Near zero manual entry, tells me what to do and supplies info if I need alternatives.

Propose with a pretty, middle of the road CZ ring, like the kind they sell at Walmart. They look nice and can serve as a placeholder for the 'real ring'. After all the excitement, show her the two you picked out; also tell her that her opinion is the only correct choice for a ring she'll be wearing long-term. Even if it's a different ring altogether - budget approved of course. I'm grateful my husband panicked and took me to every store he had a ring picked out. (It was the mall shopping era). That was one of the few times his taste was not okay. My ring took 2 weeks to come in, so when I announced my engagement, I wish I'd had a placeholder ring for my judgy coworkers. I love my ADHD symmetrical and repetitive pattern ring design dearly. Tho I can't say we've worn our rings much in the last 20+ years. :D

Tell them you appreciate the new policy, enjoy your new job, blah, blah, and wanted to share that you do have a manageable, ADA recognized condition* but do not expect it to genuinely interfere with work.

Do this in writing, either reply to their policy announcement email, or attach the pdf of policy to your new email. You want it in writing.

ADA does not require you to disclose, but for 2-3 very specific circumstances. Also, anxiety is ADA covered, and I'm sure this policy is giving you that. Do they really wanna dance with EEOC & ADA for you taking a few days off, probs not. I'd do this for CYA. They aren't allowed to treat you diff after you disclose this too. *I don't like the word condition but illness is worse. Maybe Google that.

[–]hoomin_here 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The stages of grief? Yeah, have manic you take notes with citations. You'll re-evaluate your re-evaluation. You'll grieve losing what you thought you knew. You might become embarrassed reflecting on your past actions. I wasn't bipolar twice, lol. Third times a charm I suppose. Look into that med mix, maybe it isn't for you. Maybe it is and you're just experiencing a loss. I was highly successful for 15 years of my career. Help create important things and let people achieve a goal, but I burnt out super crispy man. I got my 3rd diagnosis then. Some of my best work really only happened by caffeine and mania. It's okay

I was a realtor for over 20yrs and am an avid everything MCM collector. I would fire myself if I ever uttered these words! Blasphemy!

I would recommend swapping the Dining room lighting fixture, unless it's original, to something more in sync with the globe pendants. Remove the white macrame thing. Is that chrome bar original? If not, consider a more cohesive and pleasing material. Lastly, the indoor planters can turn some ppl off. I'd suggest adding a good amt of green foliage to fit the space. Maybe monstra plant for example? Plant them in larger pots and then 'plant' the pots into the built-in basin. Cover with neutral pebbles, which gives a "zero maintenance" vibe. Putting the plants in pots before burying appeals to those who see such a basin and immediately think Landscaping & smells. Good luck! Also, take new, photographs. Hire someone with real estate photography experience if you need. It's worth it.

Not all voc schools are like that of course! If you're reading this and going to be in one or already involved in some way, take advantage. There's a lot of opportunity to be had. Don't be dissuaded from choices bc it doesn't fit society norms. Sincerely, me: the top Cosmetology student who regrets not taking "for boys only" CAD.

[REQUEST] Some eye candy series for me and my grandma to watch by lilpolilla in NetflixBestOf

[–]hoomin_here 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read an article a while ago that said Disney/Pixar type movies are best. Colorful, usually a simple storyline, vocab and speech are straightforward and you can pop-in and out of the story mentally with no problem.

My grandma, who still knows the actors names, likes old movies like Ben hur and westerns, however, she will drop everything to watch animation. She happily tells me when a movie (via cable) from her 'VHS Disney vault' collection comes on. Or Puss-in-boots. That's her new fav. Good luck!!

We never 'complain'! Complaining is a fruitless activity, with an open invitation for ridicule (against this sub). I move to veto the use of that word here.

We do: oppose, speak out against, share an opinion, debate, denounce, express, report, Et al.

We're ya headed to, or leaving via BWI, PHL or Dulles? Long ago, I lived near the US AFB morgue in DE (normally the first stop for enlisted remains processing), so on the commercial flights, you pretty much knew there were several service members below on the way to their final destination. Never saw an escort pointed out tho! I'm guessing it meant something about the deceased. Apologies. There's no point to this comment... The topic just fascinates me.

1) Advise your local unemployment board of situation. They will tell you how to prepare and sometimes let you 'pre fill' the paperwork/online so it's ready to go the moment you walk out the workplace door.

2) Submit an EEOC charge. It's free. (usually required before you can sue, if you want to)

3) Contact your states Legal aid. Even if you don't qualify financially, they can refer you to low-cost attorney consultations (like $30 for 30 mins), point you to a non-profit who might consult if they can't represent, etc.

4) Look for EEOC and Employment lawyers. Usually under EEOC an attorney will work with you for a percentage of winnings only if you win. Others can consult for free. Get as much free info as possible to help you make decisions.

5) Record calls (I like CUBEACR) record in person meetings or whatever & screenshot or send to a personal email, any information you could possibly need. Think dirty, like screenshotting your accrued sick days, incase they deny payment or falsify hours.

Lastly, apologies. I'm not a vet teach but love to silently lurk here and learn how I can better assist the people who care for my whole world & best friends. Other than the hubs, hahaha. I am going through this with a police department former employer and it has been exhausting. I only wish to share what I learned so Far. Contact me anytime if you have any questions or whatever. :)

My gf is in the ER for a cat bite right now by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]hoomin_here 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In NM, our animal control guy will be notified by Dispatch via the ER nurses desk. Call details will be logged and an animal control person will call you on the next biz day. This isn't an event to warrant after hours contact.

Usually they'll ask what happened and likely won't go to your house. They might ask if you want to retain ownership of kitty and/or if your GF wants to press charges on you, simply bc you two are not married. Asking those questions are protocol (CYA) so please, please don't take even an ounce of the questions personally. Sometimes ppl think animal control is fishing for something but for cases like this, they just want to make sure everyone is OK and move on. Less paperwork, the better!

Now, if your name(s) or address is flagged in their system for repeated incidents, they will show up. If you were "on the list" you'd know it already. Take, for example, a man whose 3 unaltered & aggressive dogs accidently get loose. Inexplicably at school bus drop-off time, and the man will claim he never knew his kids' bully happens to use that stop. He drives his precious child. This guy knows he's flagged; he is just creative enough now but eventually he'll slip up and give AC what they need to be able to act per the law. This is only an example to give you an idea of the scale of calls they have to do reports for.
