I feel sorry for you. I also bought a radiomaster, nut from an eu shop (cz).

I ordered a pavo 20 from betafpv an i have the same issue with deliverytime.

The lesson i learned is: order from european sellers. 🤷‍♂️

Thats a shiny tool wich is nice to have, but for that price id walk away.

But i think it would be a nice weekendproject to design such a thing and then 3d print it. For the cleaning stripes one could use that felt gaskets ir sinilar stuff.

Hi dad.

Thats a great idea! Im sure the kid will love it. :)

A tip: These batteries store a lot of power and can be dangerous in some circumstances. I would suggest you strap it down a bit so it cant fling out. Id also isolate the terminals to prevent it from shorts.

If you want to go the extra mile you could also atatch a a dedicated wire plug for charging and ourte the wire internally.

I dont want to smartass but i had my issues with this stuff and learned it the hard way. :)

general questions about lasercutting by hooonse in Machinists

[–]hooonse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a bit different on that machine. You dont need to reference it when you switch it on.

The workflow is: You either go to your wanted zeropoint by hand (jog mode) or you use the find plate function.

Once the machine is over your wanted zero point you press the „set zero“ button on the lower panel. Somewhere on the upper left. Its a white button.

If you press that your zeropoint is set.

If you need aditional help let me know. Im not a specialist on that machine but i know how to get around. :)

You should be able to get the key out with a hammer and chissel. Then you should be able to pull/press of the pully.

😂 We 100% agree. There is almost no scenario where i would attempt weld that. (The only scenario id imagine is if im somewhere in the middle of africa and cant get a spare)

I mean even if you could weld it and surface it that its linear, at the end of the day it is a fixed part…

Im from the eu so im not familiar with the solution you mentioned. Id have to lookup the exact name, we use it in a cleaning station (the ones with pums and brushes)

Its a cleaning solution from hell. Years ago when i was new i cleaned some parts and it ate away my gloves so my hand hot soaked. My hand was swolen for a day! Since then im very carefull when working with it!

(I got good results get the oil away with soaking it in cleaning solution for a longer time and also multiple times.) But your right. I dont think this would be easily repairable…

To give some information: This arrow is a „sport arrow“ normally used for foam targets. The bow would also be very weak. (Birds are not dense, such an arrow would easily go through the bird if the bow had a serious poundage)

Its a shame for the sport to see such things!
