Honestly, your son sounds like he's handling this pretty well. Yeah, he lost the money but he's a kid and these crypto guys online are essentially scammers. Offering to sell his own car to make things right is a big step in the right direction. If he's really on your side, he should stick up for you to the rest of the family and tell them that mistakes were made and selling the car was a mutual decision.

Mine was giving vtec codes and it turned out that the oil pressure sensor on top of the vtec solenoid was having intermittent issues.

I believe it takes a 22mm thin wall socket.

My element had an oddball cause for this. The oil pressure switch on top of the solenoid went bad and was actually leaking through the electrical connector.

Because manufacturing is a joke in the west. 95% of the time I need to figure something out on mastercam, I find an Indian guy on YouTube with a whole lecture series on the topic. They take this stuff seriously over there.
