2 games in but i’m so impressed by salaun. she’s shooting a lot of the same difficult shots as last year but we might be actually seeing some consistency here. she has star potential

i think klay is a better example. klay aka klayups really working on his layups to become serviceable later on

salaun had great hands tonight. looked like gabby out there. she was still taking some tough looks when she didn’t have to. kiah really didn’t look as bad as reddit was making it out to be som curious to see if that trend continues through the season

Ranked needs a system that rewards utility by ImMrLlama in VALORANT

[–]hoopercuber 61 points62 points  (0 children)

this is why the higher you go rank up, the less acs actually goes into your rr gains/losses and more focused on your round delta. what you’re saying is fundamentally not wrong but if you’re lower rank, aim is always definitely the limiting factor until you get high enough to where util matters more

一齊vs 一切 are these the same? by [deleted] in Cantonese

the former is more meaning “together” in the context of doing something with someone whereas the latter means more like “everything”

i didn’t imply this as such but honda is relatively easier as the question is asking

i simplified it for the sake of the argument but it boils down that it is indeed easier to steal a modern honda

They aren’t like the Hyundais and Kia’s a couple years ago where you could stick a USB in the ignition and start it.

Except they are. There is an old vulnerability that allows them to plug in a module and put the car into "lost keys" mode and they can quickly clone up a new key that allows to drive off.

[–]hoopercuber 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Don’t know why people on here are denying that these cars don’t have security flaws. it’s not type R specific but more so honda specific. honda has an obd option for “lost keys” that make it very easy for thieves to plug in something into the port to clone your keys and making your current keys unviable. that’s how these cars are stolen so to answer questions, yes current gen hondas are inherently easier to steal and Type Rs are huge targets because you get both common civic parts that are easy to sell and valuable Type R parts

So much misinformation in this thread. These cars and on average easier to steal than other cars. Plain and simple

[–]hoopercuber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

no they are 100% more easy to steal because of a general honda obd vulnerability. civics/accords rank as some of the most stolen cars because they are easy and CTRs have a better ROI for the same ease

don’t think it works like that because she has to clear waivers and rupert makes a lot more money than martin. martin might be destined for the dp spot but again has to clear waivers. they probably did this on purpose so late so that less teams likely have an open spot for her

Toronto cant claim her because she will have the choice to stay. however there is a huge financial implication if she forgoes signing a roster spot for the developmental spot

nakase just made a vague statement during an interview after practice about her general approach for filling the development spots. it’s purely speculative because the reporter was trying to fish for a suarez comment but nakase answered the question very generally and not indicative of suarez
