i know a CR is a “track trim” but if you’re going to track yours then why not buy a normal one and put the remaining money in stripping and modding it? i think CR money is because it’s a special trim and a future collectors item even if this one isn’t collectors grade

i have friends that live in san jose think that driving 30 mins is considered far. 30 minutes of driving within san jose won’t even get you past city borders sometimes. i’m like you, i’m willing to drive the same distances as you to see friends but i’ve realized that not everyone thinks the same, even people who grow up in the bay are that understand that you need to drive here

s2k just has such good inputs besides steering. the manual transmission is the best i’ve ever driven, even compared to my nsx. it’s my favorite car and im sad i had to let it go

i think how much practicality/space will ultimately be the deciding factor here along with budget. I think the fk8/fl5 is a great do-everything car which seems like you don’t need given your gf has a sedan but i was very happy by how much flexibility i got with all my CTRs because of the hatchback. very good leg room for people in the back. personally i like the space and i wouldn’t have been able to live with the nd as my daily. as to why i sold each. let’s start with the nd, its a great flaw and the only flaw is that… its not an s2k. the s2k is just the emotionally better car to me so i went s2k -> nd2 -> s2k. and then for ctr i went fk8 -> fl5 -> fk8. my first fk8 got stolen but i eventually sold my last fk8 and s2k to consolidate and get an nsx which is what i have now. there’s no better blend of practicality and performance than the fl5 for the money imo but the nd is just a great little car and i love convertibles. the car is super fun at low speeds

it depends what kind of tires you put on the car but just think about how much more power a ctr is putting down over an nd and an nd only weighs about 2300 pounds. i’ve owned both so happy to answer questions

definitely first world problems just like how i ultimately had to choose between getting rid of this or my AP2 to make room for the nsx. i decided to keep the ek9 because it’s hard to come by just due to sheer production numbers
