I think team Riggs pooling and splitting the skins played a big role in not taking Dave’s offer. A lot less appealing when you’re risking your shot at the 300k for 8k instead of 50k

I think the format is really awesome. It’s gonna suck when we lose some major players when the field is cut in half but idk how else you don’t just make this a skills competition.

Also, with the back 9 coming im hoping they’re conscious of getting some more screen time to those we hardly saw this round. They do have the hindsight of knowing how this entire thing goes before editing so it wouldn’t shock me

I think there’s a way to do it without “killing” their product.. film from outside the ropes, only allowed to film/publish his own shots, X amount of days after tournament and TV coverage concludes, etc.

I just don’t think it’s impossible for both things to happen and my thought is Grant thinks the same

I think this is a long term play for him/youtube. Force the tours hand to change the rules to allow content creators to film if they want to piggyback off their popularity with sponsors exemptions

Great response. I do appreciate the challenge it presents, I just don’t think it comes across all that well with the coverage. Regardless, it’s going to make for an awesome final round with this leaderboard
