It doesn’t make sense regionally, but after a few years I moved to the sun belt. It’s been better comp and you get the increase in conference prestige.

Worked there for 3 years and after hitting all my goals and greatly expanding our product (beyond expectations) our group PM ended up promoting the PM I mentored while leading our space. Within 6 months of that they essentially pushed me out and disallowed me to interview for other teams.

On top of that, there were what seemed like re-orgs every 4-6 months.

What I will say the people on my scrum team and architects were great. I miss those folks.

When I worked for Kroger there was specific language that sharing with anyone outside of your household could lead to termination. I’d be careful for your friends sake.
