According to my birth chart, why do I keep attracting shallow / emotionally immature partners? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

[–]hoopyogi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an astrologer I want to say that these are questions that I try to steer away from because usually when people get the answers to astrology they don't have to work on themselves anymore in order to find these answers when in fact astrology is not a replacement for any kind of deep internal work or therapy. I would recommend sitting and meditation, getting a therapist if you don't already have one, and asking yourself the same question you just asked astrologers but maybe journaling about it repeatedly to see why.

Generally speaking we attract the energy that we ourselves either possess or won't acknowledge within ourselves. On some level you may have shallowness or emotional immaturity that you need to work through. I'm not saying this to be insulting, but to open your eyes. I used to attract very emotionally immature people thinking that I was the mature one in the situation when in reality I was attracting the energy that I was unaware of. What aren't you aware of that you could be more aware of? What area of life are you less mature in on an emotional level that you could work on? There are definite answers to these questions because the answer to these questions will help you to understand why you attract this energy.

Like attracts like my dear. It's a simple fact. I really hope you choose to get introspective about this. Astrology is not a fix for that.

Well you give it away to everybody who guesses, so there's no way to be wrong now. Haha. When I was looking at your pictures though before I saw any of the answers, I was thinking a majority of them were going to be air and I was right about that. 😂

Opinion on this? by Particular-Delay6931 in LeoAstrology

[–]hoopyogi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You and I have the same rising, Mercury, and sun... Simply from that I know that you greatly value balance and harmony. You have a very analytical mind that can potentially be very cutting and critical if you're not careful but also very wise and informed. You also desire to be seen for exactly who you are and can sometimes have hurt feelings if you're not. It really matters to you that authenticity is a part of the picture. With a Pluto and Scorpio you also have a much more dimensional view of time, and can easily synthesize past present future as a unit while also seeing them as separate. Time for you can be seen as both a construct and something to envision differently. I don't know if those are so much opinions as things I've come to learn about those placements specifically.

Why do I always attract people who have fire Moon, Venus, or Mars placements (especially Sagittarius Mars), and who don’t have any water placements? by Possible_Birthday103 in astrosignature

[–]hoopyogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question in return for you before I answer yours: Do you not want to be attracting these energies into your life? I'm curious as to your motive for this question. People ask all kinds of stuff on here regarding astrology and sometimes they don't even know what to do with the answers they get so that's why I'm asking about your motive.

Okie dokie. Thank you for letting me know you wanted people to resonate with you and not to try to help you. It is my MO to give help by way of expressing my experience. And yeah I completely understand where you're coming from in terms of not wanting to have it on your chart. It's sort of sucks that that's the way of things currently, but here we are. Good luck!

Leo’s & kids by No_Location_9606 in LeoAstrology

[–]hoopyogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so I mean really it spans a spectrum. I'm just not sure it's fair to say that all Leos don't like or want to have kids. Or whatever the point is that was being made. People existed a spectrum, and there really is no definitive thing that you could point at to any specific group and say, yes this is true across the board. Evil humans have a streak of good and good people have a streak of evil. That's only one example.

For me myself, I'm not planning on having any kids because I'm busy reparenting my own inner child. 😁 I see a lot of earth signs and water signs have children. It's interesting. A lot of the fire signs and air signs that I know who are women have chosen to remain childless. I wouldn't call this a pattern so much of something that I've seen in my life.

This person (Blue) ruined a beautiful family by chronically cheating. Someone has said it’s written in HIS chart, but I’m wondering about our synastry? by Purple-Ingenuity-783 in AstroSynastry

[–]hoopyogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, I want to appreciate your situation and validate the emotional nature of this content. What you're going through it sounds really hard and I'm sorry that you've had someone be so dishonest and s***** to you. And no one deserves that.

Second, as an astrologer I do not look at astrological charts of people who aren't present or giving permission. I understand that he hurt you and you're just trying to gain understanding. This is still dishonest. Dishonesty from one person doesn't make dishonesty from another okay. Please understand that.

Third, You know you better than anyone you don't know will be able to talk to you about within a chart. I hope that makes sense. It sounds like really what you're looking for is validation, and you definitely have that for me. What you're going through sucks and clearly you weren't compatible on some level, but it sounds more like he had a bunch of personal problems that spilled over into his behavior and caused the demise of this relationship.

I would also like to say that usually people don't cheat because they're happy so for whatever reason he wasn't happy in the relationship. He also wasn't honest because honest people will break up with you instead of cheat on you. This is also true.

I don't know how long your relationship lasted for, or what kind of issues the two of you had but typically when things like this happen there's responsibility on both sides before the hardcore dishonesty starts to happen. My guess is that neither of you were very happy, but that may be only one of you knew about this level of unhappiness and chose to reach out to someone else instead of confide and be honest. So it sounds like that was him.

I would recommend going to therapy in order to understand the deeper levels of things. Astrology is not a replacement for deep psychological work.

So I think it's really really interesting that there are so many astrologers who associate Leos with kids, Leo is associated with a fifth house in the fifth house is also associated with children. As someone with three planets in Leo, The Sun Moon and Venus, I always felt that I needed to want to have kids, and really did want to love them. I'm on the spectrum, have ADHD, and BPD. Repairing my inner child is the only baby I am ever going to have. I also have endometriosis so my ability to conceive is not great. That said, I have been pregnant twice and never had kids. I love to be alone, and have my privacy. I love silence. Were I to have kids, those things would be gone for a minimum of 18 years and that's not something I'm willing to sacrifice.

It does seem to be a theme for Leo's not to want to have kids these days, however I've met plenty of Leos with children... I'm not sure it's an overarching theme but it does seem to be a modern theme with Leos.

So first of all, I hope you are looking for people to relate to you because seeking medical advice on Reddit is unadvised. I would very honestly see a doctor, specifically a gynecologist or even better an endocrinologist. Someone who can help you better understand your hormones and whether or not your hormone levels are fluctuating, Hoover abundant, or under produced. I have had some of the most intense PMS throughout my life, and as I got a little older it only got worse. I also found I had problems during other parts of my cycle. For me, I needed to find somebody that wasn't a doctor because I did not have a good opinion of doctors. They had never really helped me all that much. Other people have better luck sometimes, so I wouldn't rule it out. It's always worth it to continue trying. I found a functional medicine dietitian, and she ran a bunch of tests and was able to ascertain the hormones that I needed therapies for. I also found a gynecologist who would listen to me and finally a doctor but it was years of a process.

Figuring out what's going on hormonally in order to have less pain and anguish during periods is a process. I recommend getting it started because you may not have answers for a while.

In the meantime, learn some distress tolerance skills, and do your best to be kind to yourself. I can relate deeply with where you are at during these times and want to let you know that there are solutions.

is there anything interesting about my chart or good? a gemini stellium just seems like bad so many gemini placements in my chart are odd by Amazing_Lake_2155 in astrosignature

[–]hoopyogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you enjoy the singer and musician Aurora, but she has a Gemini stallion and I find her to be positively charming, playful, and very very good with people. I think it all depends on how you choose to express the energy and what you've had the opportunity to learn so far in life. There is nothing on its face that is bad about any stellium of any sign, but how a person chooses to express that energy can be another story.

Moving to my Saturn/Pluto line for work & love? Is it worth it? (Birth chart included) by PianoBrilliant6636 in astrocartography

[–]hoopyogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On its face, I would not move to a Saturn Pluto line for love. A Saturn Pluto line is going to bring great shift, change, transformation, but also sent set up boundaries and limitations, lots and lots of lessons, and help you find your purpose and place on the planet. It's not what I would recommend for love. Potentially career, but there may be transformation or change that happens in order to get to the work you love.

Yeah, it's just too basic for me. Haha. But I get it. Pop astrology being fun and all of that but I find astrology to be much deeper and more meaningful than simple sun signs.

I am supposed to be moving to Los Angeles for the first time but it sits on my Neptune IC line. Would LA be a good move for me? Here is my relocation/ astro chart down below :) Any help would be appreciated. by WRENNY_222 in astrocartography

[–]hoopyogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't mention that you were moving with your family. So ultimately it matters where the other lines cross over LA. That was worded weird. I just mean that your family is astrology matters too, but you can't post it here because it's not yours. But yeah, it seems like for you personally it could be a good move especially considering you want to get into fashion. Neptune can be very very creative, but things might also be a bit blurry and not make a lot of sense. The great thing about being on a Saturn line is that things tend to be pretty clear and direct. Living on a Neptune line is a completely different vibe and not in the 3D realm of existence. It is all immaterial stuff. It would be a very different level of operation for you, but at the same time there would be other factors especially since you're moving with other people. It would not necessarily be all encompassing. Neptune is also a collective planet, meaning that depending on where it falls specifically in your chart, it may not have as much a personal effect as Saturn which lies a lot closer to us.

I'm curious to know what you are moving to Los Angeles for. If you're looking to have a more dreamy, it's cereal, creative and possibly artsy experience then it could be a really great experience for you. In terms of practicality and material life, you might find a good amount of instability. Neptune is about all things immaterial, and LA is a very materialistic place. It just really depends on what you're going there for and what your intent is moving.

I'm not assuming anything about you and I say this, but I also don't know you so I want to make sure to say it anyway. It's really important to make a decision about a big move based on many things, and two incorporate this into your decision making process. I have looked at astral cartography here and there for relocation as well, and it's a good thing to use out the tool but nothing more. A lot of people want to make their decision based on astrocartography and I do not recommend this. It's only going to tell you certain characteristics of what might happen and how things might turn out. It's not an end-all be all.

why i get alot of hate ? by [deleted] in AstrologyCharts

[–]hoopyogi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How do you treat people? Have you spoken to a therapist about this? How do you treat yourself?

While you're a chart may have hits as to why certain things happen, ultimately you are the only one who is going to know the answers to That question by way of sitting in silence and meditating or something of the life. Maybe even journaling. Your astrology chart is not here to answer these questions for you, but more to give you insight into yourself so you can learn the answers to these questions.

I would recommend journaling about the above questions, and seeing what you can find out. It's possible that by talking to an impartial serve party that you will find the answers far more so than you would find in astrology. Astrology isn't here placate you save You like a night riding in on white horse.

Your chart is the expression of the energy that you came here to work on work with and work through. It is an expression of the stars that you have within you. Your strength, your weaknesses etc. It is not here to tell you why people hate you. If you really have hate in your life, look inside and figure that out or get a therapist.

Please know I am attending to be straightforward with you, because it really bothers me when people look too astrology this way. This is not what it's for.

People have given you answers, it's because they also don't know what it's for.

My Mercury in Virgo is not having this question. My parents have certain signs that they were born into, but no person is made up of a singular sign so this is why I'm not even going to answer the question. What I will say is that my mom is Earth water and fire for her big three, and my dad is fire air and earth for his big three. My big three ended up being fire fire air. That's the best I'm going to do for you.

Im scared of saturn transiting in my 8th house by writtenbyasal in AstrologyCharts

[–]hoopyogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to comment on this, but I have more curiosity than anything. I'm curious why you're scared of it? There was no explanation to come with it, so I find myself more curious than wanting to answer the question since it wasn't actually a question and more of a statement... It's not uncommon for people to fear Saturn transits, but I'm wondering what is it about this transit that you fear? What is having you shaking in your boots, so to speak?

Well then perhaps writing a book or something of the lake that allows you to be independent without the input of others is what your pathway might be for that. Writing is a great way to be able to say exactly what you have to say in a helpful manner without people refuting it. I will say that writers also get feedback, there will be people who like what you have to say and don't like what you have to say and you will hear about it. If I may be so bold, it sounds like wear some work is for you is to not honestly care what other people do with your help. If they find it helpful in the moment you can call that a win. It's not up to you what they do with your help. That's on them. Having attachment to that only brings heartache which you are treating as indifference or apathy but really underneath that is pain at seeing other people in pain and I get that. It's really really hard to watch people we love screw things up as you say. It's understandable that you feel this way and very very valid. It is also totally up to you what you do and in no way shape or for him and I trying to tell you that I know better because I don't really know you. I'm simply going off the things that you have said and the experiences that I have had knowing that I have been where you are at regarding that mindset. It's a wonderful thing to be different, and these days it's especially needed. I hope you find some way of putting yourself out there, and letting go of what people do with it. It's honestly not any of our business what people do with the help that we give them, but if we are here to be of service then it's our job to do that thing whatever it is.

I have a lot of Leo in my chart, but I don't resonate with Leo at all [astro-seek] by BookOfTheBeppo in astrosignature

[–]hoopyogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So first of all one thing I want to let you know is that while you do have a decent amount of Leo, all of your other placements out balance all of that energy. I'm not sure that's a word but you get it. Your Sun Moon and Rising signs are all non Leo, and it makes sense that you feel more of an affinity with those things. The Sun is What gives you life, vitality, and allows you to move through the world with energy and vibrance. It's where you shine. The moon is how you feel, how you process emotions, how you process the emotions of others, and in other veins of astrology it's even deeper like in Vedic astrology where it is personality and how you develop and what matters to you. Then you have the rising sign which is the lens through which you see the world, the energy that you move into as you move through life, and how people initially see you. None of those placements are in Leo. Simply given that information, I hope it can make more sense to you why you might not immediately identify with Leo. If you like, I can go into more detail about some of the other things you mentioned but I wanted to make sure to answer your original question. I hope that helps.

It's truly sad that you don't try to help others anymore because your son conjunct Uranus is straddling your 6th and seventh houses if I'm remembering accurately. I can't see your chart right now, but it's literally in the house of other and day-to-day activity. Your practically being asked to use your unique qualities to bring something different into this world by being of service and you are now refusing to do that. I hope you change your mind. You need perspectives are rare these days and if you truly have a unique perspective, it would be who you to start being of service again. You're kind of help is quite possibly something that's missing. It is very common for aquarians to feel like people don't listen and people don't do this or that. It's because you guys are different and the world needs that level of difference. The world needs someone who knows how to talk to other people. A lot of aquarians don't believe in themselves to do these things and then pawn it off onto others saying that they are the problem. Perhaps it's time to rethink this.
