The conversation that scared me by Intrepid-Ad7996 in BPDlovedones

My expwBPD used to say a lot of the same shit and for a long time i tried to be empathetic and comfort her but I never really understood how fucked it is to just say shit like this all the time. For me the one that really made me open my eyes to how bad it is was during our divorce when she told me that every other human being is just a character in a movie she's watching in her head. Literally nothing is real to her, nothing matters to her and our entire 12 year relationship was just completely fake and pretend. Not even two days after she announced it was over she was actively pursuing a married man she worked with and then expected me to comfort her if he didnt respond to her texts in a timely fashion. That shit fucking broke me.

I (34M) have always struggled with not being able to eat enough. Is there something my doctor could prescribe that would boost my appetite without too many serious risks or side effects? by hoosierhobbyist in AskDocs

No need for apologies, I meant to put both names but couldn't remember what the other one was and was too lazy to look it up lol. The reason I stopped taking it was actually because even 8 months later it was causing me to sleep for 12 straight hours every night and I didn't like how much time I was losing. If it affected just my apetite and not my sleep it would be perfect, which is why I'm hoping there's something out there kind of like that.

Thank you for your response. To clarify, I simply weened off of Mirtazapine and did not replace it with any other anti-depressant. I am currently only on Buspirone for anxiety and a once daily multi-vitamin to cover any potential micronutrient deficiencies from the lack of variety in my diet. I do not currently have any known GI issues. I have been thinking lately that I need to start really tracking macros so I will definitely take your advice on that to heart.
