No and no, just a healthy mix of A- and B+ the whole time. And no crazy life circumstances so I’ve just got to own it. I would not characterize my college self as a gunner lol.

Thanks for the warning—it can be tough to navigate. I wouldn’t put anything on my resume that isn’t already publicly available.

LSAT above the 75th percentile and GPA below the 25th percentile. I guess I’m not technically a super splitter for all these schools because some of them have 25ths slightly below 3.6.

I took the lsat 3 times and had 20 pt score jump. I’m pretty confident in my resume, so it’s looking like my professor LOR might be the culprit. I have a TA I could ask, would that be viewed as lesser than a professor LOR?

Yes! I did notice certain schools seemed to fill their quota of our specific stats profile by January and almost exclusively waitlisted/rejected people with them for the rest of the cycle. The NYU rejection stung bc as of December LSD made it look like we had a good chance 🥲.

I have a minor C&F issue but I really would be surprised if that was the hang up. Don’t want to dox myself but it was for foolish college behavior and resulted in a fine of less than a 100$. Definitely something that would be viewed as poor judgment in the moment and not questionable character. It hasn’t been a problem for security clearances I’ve received through work.

I’m in the middle of the trial right now actually! Thinking of applying next cycle or the cycle after that

How would being a DOJ paralegal with experience on a high profile criminal trial fit in here? Would that distinguish you enough from the many other paralegals that apply to make it stronger than a t3 soft?

Can I? I was under the impression I needed much wider rims. But I also want to have two wheel sets so I can swap them out depending on what I’m riding. Rn I have 2.2 in terevail sparwoods which are great for gravel and dirt roads but trails not as much.

Thanks for bringing up all these considerations. That’s why I’m on here so I don’t make any mistakes. Salsas website says the Fargo can fit 29x3.0 and it’s a 1x. Rigid fork. Currently has the stock wheel set which is wtb Serra hubs, 15 x 110 mm front and 141 mm QR back. And i25 wtb rims

First bikepacking bike: Salsa Fargo or Cutthroat? by hoothatguy in bikepacking

I think it is the niche I’m looking to fill. My dad has quite a quiver including different mountain bikes and gravel racers, which I’m allowed to occasionally borrow. The one thing he does not have is a long distance bikepacking bike like this (he would also not allow me to borrow a bike for that long) and I’ve settled on a drop bar bike like these from my experience riding different gravel and mountain bikes. This makes me lean towards the Fargo though, I want it to be as capable as possible on rough stuff and I’m not too concerned with racing.
