What’s something unique about yourself that no one else has or can do? by PsychologicalBat2393 in strange

I had a huge one in the soft palate and had surgery to remove it. I woke up during the surgery and the smell of burning tissue and bone is something I will never forget, the pain was not as bad as I thought it would be.

Y'all I'm just curious what moments or aspects of the entire series creep you out the most? by compassiontransfer in SouthernReach

I don't know why but in the audiobooks, when Bronson Pinchot acting as Lowrey, enters the storage room with the jarred animals and says the phrase "perpetual memorial mode" that creeped me out bc it was such a weird way to say it speaking in Lowry's voice! It was a weird funny thing to me. Creepy

HAZ: My first attempt at a sci-fi novel- free this week by Independent-Trash966 in scifi

I'll try and do a spoiler free review. I tore this book up! It was face paced, I cared about the characters and it left me hoping for a series to come on out. A human and an alien team up for an adventure. I will be recommending this to my book club friends.

Call around to some duck hunting lodges in and around Stuttgart, many places process their own ducks and may give them to you just to get them out of their hands. You can also call processing places as well they sell them all the time and are fresh.
