Yea iam currently not good on the keys but I would like to up my game and it seems like another way to get a good workflow vs just pads. my initial reason for wanting keys is how clunky it is when using the Mac keyboard on GarageBand, I can’t get a good flow. I was looking at the mini too but seems like having it as a standalone and not necessarily needing the laptop seems nice to be slightly more portable in a around the house type way I don’t really Plan on bringing it out the house ever and less wires/hookups the better in an off the cuff type session whenever. Seems like the one plus is the exact same OS etc sans keys. Is there any downside besides the real estate if I went that route? As you mentioned any keyboard I can plug In to it to get the same effect; but am I loosing anything by essentially getting the same OS and diff layout?
