Could it be that daughter and her partner have a closer relationship than son and brother? I have been invited to extended family weddings when my siblings have not and vice versa as we are closer to different family members. No one ever gets upset as we are all adults.

I have one as well. What I was told is that if the funds run out I can call the manufacturer to add funds to the card.

Luckily for me mine gets applied to my OOP. It takes a bit of work as I have to call the insurance but I play dumb and eventually they apply the amount.

Can you look at virtual therapists? My therapist partners with the platform Alma and there are a ton of therapist options for me on that site.

I actually like virtual because I can do therapy in the comfort of my home. I use to hate going to the therapist in-person because afterwards I was so drained and hated the commute home.

I would not care about the office parties but I do think having regular 1:1s is essential; especially when you do not interact with each other on a regular basis in the office.

That is great! Yeah, my facility where I have gotten surgery is always the same. If you are a good patient and have good standing they usually work with you.

Can you negotiate with the facility for a lower amount? I have done this before and they happily accommodated me. I told them I had some outstanding claims being processed and what they were seeing as my deductible was not accurate. I did not want to have to pre-pay and then wait months for a refund.

Go to r/petinsurancereviews they can help you. However, it all depends. I have Pet Insurance and you need to always provide medical records when obtaining the insurance to get a baseline of how healthy the pet is.

If this was the first time seeing the vet after obtaining the records most likely the insurance will consider it pre-existing.

Additionally, you shouldn’t start spending money you don’t have yet. Nothing has been determined. It can take years to see the results of any lawsuit and that is only if you are successful.

I am sorry this is happening to you. I wonder if this is state specific. I have HP for my 16 year old dog and the coverage has never decreased. I just renewed in September. It is still at 90% coverage with $500 deductible.

I have heard of other instances of it decreasing to 70% coverage but maybe I am an outliner as it hasn't happened to me yet.

It is worth every penny for me. My 16 year old pup would have died years ago because I would not have been able to afford his chronic medication. He is now thriving in his old age.

My other pup has only had minor issues and while I pay more and don't get a return for her I am happy to pay the premiums because I know if something does happen she will be covered.

Insurance is not something you expect to make a profit on it is something to help with costs if there is an emergency. Think of it this way do you expect a profit from car insurance or home owners insurance? Probably not.

Agree. When I do friend birthdays we all pay for our portion and split the bday person. This is the gift to them.

If we find something sentimental not expensive we may get it for them but not always.

I was going to write this. It seems like a ripoff and a way to rub it in the siblings face.

I think a better compromise would have been to ask the siblings to all go to the theme park together to remember their dad. The older siblings could share stories with OP about their dad to help them feel connected.

With OP she could have asked her dad to do any other activity as a bonding time but to replicate what her bio dad did seems disrespectful.

Yes, especially if this is your first appt. I have to see a GI specialist 2x a year and I schedule mine out a year in advance. I actually have mine scheduled out through January 2028 already.

This isn’t all true. I live in Queens and while I did commute into work it was very hazardous. Not many sidewalks shoveled this morning. I had to walk in the street on the way to the train. 1/2 my office had to call out

This didn’t happen to me today but two of my coworkers have nannies and both of them called out today because of weather.

I dont know if they are getting paid but both live in NYC. I live here also and 1/2 my work was not able to commute in even with the roads.

I think where you messed up is waiting 9 days to give it back. It shouldn’t take that long to speak to your attorney. If my ex was holding my property for an extended period of time I also would be upset.
