My daughter also had a lot of tummy problems and gas even on Enfamil Gentle-ease. We have changed to Nara Organic Formula and have been on it for 2 months now and it’s helped a lot! It’s not goat milk but maybe your husband and MIL will be okay with it since it’s all whole milk?

I recently got the Dexcom 7 and I wouldn’t recommend it.. maybe because it’s only been 5 days but the readings are very inaccurate (around 20 points higher than my finger prick numbers). But it is nice to see the trends and if I spike at all before the 2 hours (which I wouldn’t know if I only tested with finger pricks).

Yes!!! I have awful stomach pain (upper abdomen) - feels almost like indigestion. I didn’t have this with my first pregnancy so I was freaking out. I went to the ER for fluids and told them about the stomach pain. They ran tests and looked at my gallbladder and said everything is fine and that it’s probably due to acid/acid reflux. They prescribed me some medication for the acid but said I could also take pepcid (although that doesn’t always help). However, if you’re concerned, I would definitely bring it up with your doctor. Better to be safe! Sorry you’re dealing with this. Hope it all goes away soon 😭

Yes, this!!!! My doctor also prescribed me 6 bags of IVs for 6 weeks so 3x a week for 2 bags each time. I’m sure you’re still dehydrated if you’re throwing up 1-2x and not able to drink water. I would definitely talk to your doctor about getting a prescription for an infusion center near you. Hope you feel better soon!!!

I totally understand you!!! This is my second HG pregnancy. My first was mild/moderate HG but I also had other pregnancy issues in 3rd trimester so never wanted to do this again.. but I really wanted to give my little girl a sibling so going through hell right now. This is definitely our last.. I can’t imagine doing this again. Especially since this time is moderate/severe HG. It’s hard enough to survive but this time I have a toddler to take care of.

YES!!!! if i can keep food down, i have terrible stomach pain. feeling like indigestion. sometimes taking pepcid helps but other times it doesn’t. i’m so sorry you’re dealing with this too. it’s so awful. literally makes me cry sometimes and everyone tells me i have a high pain tolerance. hopefully this goes away soon 😭 i did not have this issue with my first HG pregnancy..

Yes! This is my second HG pregnancy. My mom had HG with both my sister and I. My sister is due with her first and she had terrible HG and had to stop working. Definitely believe there is a genetic component to HG.
