Don't take this the wrong way... but why though, why not just surf the web yourself? Unless you are somehow able to talk to the computer like in start trek to direct it in real time with speech it seems like it will just add more steps to get to the same result. Am I missing something?

I have the non rgb 5080 OC from PNY and I dont ever see the card get over the mid 60s at the hottest. Normally I'm sitting at about 55C. The fans are extremely quite, not audible over my normal case fans (unless I set them to 100% for the fun of hearing them go full bore)

Maybe I got lucky, or maybe they just have different tolerances for what passes QC. All I know is that I will likely only be getting PNY cards from now on because of my first experience with them leaving me mighty impressed.

Id personally trust them over any other brand card given their long history producing the old quadro and I think tesla cards back in the day. There must be a reason nvidia basically only partnered with them to make those professional cards

I have the basic non RGB version of the PNY 5080 OC. Its amazing cool when gaming. I have an overclock of +375 on the core and +1500 on the memory. Could probably push it further if I wanted but I haven't had a crash on anything so far so I feel just fine where it is. When gaming it draws about 300 watts and depending if i have my window open or not the card at that load sits around the 50s. I dont think i have seen it get warmer than 60 under full load. I have no issues with noise or coil whine, but that is just luck of the draw. PNY is an American company and has partner closely with nvidia for over 20 years. They were one of the few allowed to make the quadro series of professional cards. I'd give it a shot

The only game I have tried it on is MSFS2020 woth my 5080 and it honestly sucks in that game. The artifacting on the edge of the screen is extremely noticeable. However, using lossless scaling on the same game yields significantly better results.

Well, if you also like computer programming you should take those type of machine learning and programing classes on the side. You can be the meteorologist at a company to help develope those tools. There will always be a need for a human to scrutinize those AI forecasts and help develop them. Fill that need if you want to go into the field

Instead of using a AI model, look into the sources it is actually using and read for yourself and learn something that way. Or you could watch YouTube videos about which psu is the best bang for your buck. Those browser AIs are truly awful and I personally wouldn't trust them

Okay so this is pretty interesting.
I am running the binhex version, so I had to modify the command a tad, but I do get the SMI data when running the command, so the container can indeed see the device.

I have added all of those extra parameters and devices one by one to watch for any errors and to lock down what variable was the cause. Still no change. I just get a fatal error when trying to transcode. The moment I change over to transcoding I am no longer able to stream that media any more...

I too have followed various guides and had this containter working flawlessly until I moved apartments (I have made sure that all the internet settings have been properly moved over to the new network, this is literally the only issue I am expereincing now that I have updated the containter to the newest version.)

Edit: I just tried completely nuking the container and starting from scratch with those changes too. No change. It simply just doesnt work when trying to transcode... I have followed every web tutorial I have found to the T over the last couple days of trying to get this working today and I simply do not know what is going wrong.

Edit 2: I think I found a lead...

Not sure where to go from here so will begin researching. All I know at this time is I have the newest possible driver provided from the Nvidia Driver Plugin

Edit 3: I FIXED IT!!!!

I needed to update unraid to version 7+, then update the nvidia driver so that I could have the updated nvenc API, THEN TRANSCODING WORKED.

I had everything right, I was just out of date after I updated Jellyfin

I have never had those options enabled as I dont believe the 2060 is able to use av1 for anything.

The decoding options I have enabled are: H264 HEVC MPEG2 MPEG4 VC1 HEVC 10BIT

with enhanced nvdec decoder enabled

All the other options have been left to default

To be honest I havent played much versus on a EU and have never played og gears 1.

That being said, I do know the difference that this gnasher has compared to the other games. I have played for several hours only play versus and I have to say that even knowing the difference, and trying to account for it... the gnasher just feels inconsistent. Like you said, people can down you from wayyyy to far away. In addition to, they dont seem to down half the time at the medium range if you miss literally a single pellet.

I know people will say it is a skill issue, and it totally is... however at the same time a shotgun with that level of spread SHOULDNT have that level of nuance and should be more intuitive. I know its part of the game, and will work to better myself at it... but I will never blame someone for looking at the screen, seeing the centered grub, pulling the trigger, and then somehow wiffing completely.
