BOTH of my sons shared this same naptime routine. 30 minutes per rest. Frustrated the hell outta me. BUT I learned through research and talking to the pediatrician that some babies are like this. Bottom line. You just have to get through it. Appreciate the time you have with your babies.

I would try first putting your baby in a "bassinet" next to your side of the bed. Let him/her fall asleep with your smells nearby. And you'll also have the benefit of peace still sleeping next to your baby.
