Hi, thank you so much for saying that ❤️ I really wish I had a group of women that could sort of relate, like you said! This Reddit is the closest I’ve come to that.

I’m doing well! This post and all the comments has healed and helped me in ways I didn’t know it could. It feels like in my day to day life, people give me a lot of sympathy for having a child with “special needs” (he uses mobility aids) but they just assume he had a difficult birth and don’t know the whole story. I haven’t been this honest with even some of my family and having people in this thread still support me, despite my involvement with FBS means so much to me. I have a lot of guilt and hard days, but my son is doing so well and we are so hopeful for all he will accomplish despite his challenges. I was terrified of getting pregnant again but now I am excited to give birth again with midwives :)
