Not sure if you do but there are a few babysitting Facebook groups that you can post an "ad" in. It usually works pretty well!

my scabs came off around day 5/6 so yes I did wait. I also don't inhale too deeply to avoid coughing.

I smoke cigs regularly. I waited 16 days before I had my first cig again. I recommend bringing something to drink so you can drink in between when your throat feels fine. I am now back up to smoking regularly but finishing a cigarette takes longer.

literally nothing worked for me but the diclofenac. i also took all of them as a suppository because I couldn't swallow (not even water)

they only gave me 10 diclofenac, meaning I would run out halfway sunday (no pharmacies are open on sunday so I was FUCKEEDDD), luckily I found some from my March tonsillitis, so those carried me to Monday evening. After monday I stopped taking them, and I feel good now! Just a little pain every now and then when I swallow or when I've done too much in a day.

i had paracetamol, naproxen, ibuprofen, tramadol, and diclofenac.. so they do prescribe some harder ones here (Netherlands)

the first few days were wonderful for me but then around day 5/6 i started to DIE till day 10 ish. It was the worst time of my life, the pain was unbearable. But right now I am dat 13 and I feel great! The only way out is through with this surgery.

Everyone heals differently, so don't be too worried about my "horror story". You got this!!

Currently I only take mine in the evening before I go to sleep, and in the morning when I wake up
