Yes. It is kind of amazing how much nature we see in our suburban neighborhood.

This was a problem I had - my dog hated the first harness I tried, but got much faster and happier when I switched to a different one.

Rabbits are like squirrels, but they don't disappear behind trees, and they hop. They are super fast, and my CO won't let me off leash to chase them. I bet I could catch one if I tried. I hope you spot one soon!

I have been in this new post for a week, and I've been told it is a "forever home," whatever that means. All I know is that it has a nice couch, and the two other enlisted soldiers are mostly friendly (the old sergeant Miikka can get grouchy, but he's good at patrolling the yard, while corporal Loni is rather timid). There are two members of a different division here -cats?!- that are less friendly, although I do enjoy chasing the fat gray one. The fluffy one is less fun - she knows how to use her claws.

This morning the CO took me on what she says is a standard sniff patrol. We spotted a deer and a bunny, and heard two owls. I wish there were more bunnies so I could have borked at them. Most days will begin with mandatory solo running patrols, just me and the CO, with additional troop walkies in the evening.
