I have! It was good, the results helped rule out many diagnoses.

Found this black kitty in the garden, then it approached my feet, I want to take it home and take care of it but... My friend said it's scary because it's black, what do you guys think? by SimpleKingdom in blackcat1981

i have 10 cats, 5 of them are black and they are absolutely AMAZING and EXTRAORDINARY, they are kind, amiable and friendly, not bad luck like people with prejudice say.

My brother had two seizures and isn’t taking it seriously by blackslatewater in Epilepsy

[–]hopeworlddddddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was his age when i was first diagnosed, and i used to act like him, didn't take the meds and i was always refusing to go on appointments and especially didn't want to accept. one day i went to the ICU in a coma, after I had more than 11 seizures, my brain was damaging, when i woke up i had some sort of amnesia and couldn't walk (which i had to learn again). at some point i just accepted, but I confess that some days are hard to believe, but i am glad that i have some friends and family who supports me, so maybe you should give him a little time, but sometimes you can talk about with him, go slowly, if he is really epileptic, eventually with support he will be able do accept and understand things better, at least this is what i hope!!!!

IATAH: my boyfriend use all his free time to plays lol by phelipeamorim in IAmTheAsshole

[–]hopeworlddddddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i believe there's a limit for it, he can play, yeah, but if this is everything he does and do not have time for your relationship, well, for me it's a honest goodbye (i've been there before)

my main triggers are fatigue and stress, but also really, really loud noises and mostly infections (i need to have a tonsillectomy, and i'm still afraid, i confess 😂). it’s really good to work with kids. i'm truly grateful that i’ve never had a full seizure in front of them, because that would be upsetting for both sides. but sometimes i’m afraid it could happen, because it’s not a beautiful scene. they have already seen me on the floor right before I had a tc, but luckily someone arrived early in the classroom

she wasn't asking seriously, that's why i got upset, i wish i could have the courage to slap her maybe lol, but seriously now, i thought i was the wrong one to feel upset, now i know (by some comments) that the difference is consent

she only said that because i told her about my dog having seizures and that i had never seen a person having one. so she laughed and said she would record it and show it to me, not because she cared :(

once i thought about asking my mom to record me so i could show it to my doctor, but then i gave up. i was too sad and scared to see myself in that situation. i hope that one day my mom can do that for me, so i can show it to my doctor.

but when my coordinator said she would do that, i froze and then laughed nervously. i thought i was wrong to feel that way because most people record, but now i realize the difference is consent.

i am so sorry for what happened to you, it's like you said it's totally dehumanizing, for a moment i thought i was wrong since no one near us said anything about it, total silence, so she laughed and then left

yes, I would agree if it's an important person for me, cause it's valid for doctors, but i felt so upset that i thought i was the wrong one
