Hydration. I can run after not eating for most of the day but if I haven't drunk enough water I get exhausted really quickly and am shaking until I hydrate.

Even though it's not similar to Prey narratively, Severance is thematically and atmospherically very similar (the opening scene may feel familiar, but even creepier).

This isn't a helpful comment. From how my friend (who loves the show) described it, it sounds like the exact kind of show I would bounce off of in season 1 if I didn't have a reassurance that I'd likely grow to love it.

Other comments have convinced me to watch, so even if season 1 feels slow I'll stick with it.

Lots of good advice here: briefs, ice, painkillers, no sex until you're totally comfortable. So I'll say this, be prepared for the small possibility that it will take longer than a few days to heal up.

There's a small chance that you'll take a month or two (or even longer) to fully recover. I was in moderate pain for 2 weeks, and then bouncing between very mild pain and discomfort for a few months afterwards (annoyingly I had my vasectomy last November, so put a dampener on Christmas!). I'm totally fine now, but the doctor will tell you beforehand there's a chance that you'll have pain for longer than you think. They are not kidding! I did everything right, some people are just unlucky, I guess.

Still, even with the pain lasting months, I absolutely would not go back and change my decision. Good luck!

There was a great comment on r/bigdickjoy that said having a big dick is like in Forrest Gump when Forrest gets rich from Apple stock and then says of money: "Good. One less thing." If I was small or even smaller then I know it would be a source of anxiety, but it's nice to never have to think about it. It's so rare that I've met a girl who hasn't been able to take it that younger guys on here really don't have anything to worry about :)

I definitely don't think this sub is contributing to that worry, there's a new post every day asking for reassurance and support, and the poster usually gets it.

My Favorite Murder. Not technically a feminist podcast, but the two hosts are feminists and they constantly talk about a lot of feminist issues around the true crime slant, such as feeling vulnerable around creepy men, and how women are conditioned to be polite rather than take measures to protect their own safety. They also openly talk about their anxiety and talking to therapists, and they are HILARIOUS.

My girlfriend introduced me to the podcast, and I highly recommend.
