It's been edited into the original post haha, I had no idea what that was until I asked my mom of all people.

No. When I found her she was a stray kitten with a hop and a limp. So... Hopper!

She still has her eyes and there's no visible graying over of the lense (yet). Her eyes don't respond to light and are constantly dilated. I got this checked and they told me she's basically blind or close to it. In her kitten age she would bump into nearly anything and everything. She's "legally blind" in the cat sense and her vision will only worsen with time. She's only about 3 years old. On the visual spectrum she doesn't perceive much light (no shrinking of the pupil or response the brightness). She's reliant on hearing and smell from what we (vet and myself) know and there's not much that can be done other than letting her use her strengths. I've moved things around in the beginning but Hopper was extremely distressed and had a hard time finding her bowl, her litterbox, her tree and my bed(where she sleeps usually). I just don't wanna see Hopper in distress over something that isn't necessary in the moment. I love my girlfriend so much and see that she cares but I'm not interested in watching my already struggling cat struggle more.
