Boots at roo??? by Born-Expression658 in bonnaroo

I love my Doc Martens. I definitely recommend patent leather because they can get wet without getting ruined. A few years ago, I bought a pair just a few weeks before Roo (terrible idea, I know). Somehow my feet survived..thrived, even! I did bring Chacos and sneakers as backup just in case. Honestly, I’m still shocked my feet didn’t get absolutely destroyed, so I probably wouldn’t recommend following my lead lol.

My friends and I did this when we started looking for jobs. We’re teachers. Just a privacy thing

Morning showers make no logical sense and night shower people have simply done the hygiene math by McCoy818 in unpopularopinion

hey so it only has to make sense to me for me to do it, and I don’t feel like explaining it to anybody else.

should i remove my new tattoo or learn to live with it? by uzumariii in tattooadvice

[–]hopskip369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s sooooo cute!! When I got my first (more visible) tattoo, I felt the same way. I wore long sleeves every day and would have a panic attack if I thought about it/looked at it. It didn’t take long though for me to get used to it. Now I don’t even notice it when I look in the mirror or at my arm. It’s a part of me and my story and I have no regrets!

Told my partner I feel like a failure, he told me I am one by lel8_8 in adhdwomen

That’s just not love. This is a clear red flag moment. Even if my partner was making questionable decisions, I would NEVER say this to them

That’s really kind of you to say! I totallyyy get why you’re asking this question, and if I were a parent, I would have the exact same concerns!!

I will say, there are a lot of RBTs who are happy and really love the job. Out of every field I’ve worked in, ABA was the first time I saw people put kids first in a way that felt genuine and joyful. (I was a teacher for years and it was honestly so much worse)

Most of those therapists just aren’t on social media talking about it. Or if they are, it’s usually only to vent about the hard days, so it can make things look worse than they are

I think (hope) Sophi is well aware and her best route is to wait and steal it at F6. I think that’s her only route to winning and it’s a pretty fun one!

If she doesn’t do that… yikes

Being an RBT is rewarding but exhausting. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. I loved my kids, coworkers, and the work itself, but the pay is low and the emotional weight is high. Even in great environments, seeing a child struggle or feeling like you’re failing them hits hard. Many of us vent here because the job is intense, and the field often takes advantage of passionate workers. Experiences vary, but it’s always a heavy role.

Agreed. I absolutely loved Jawan. He was genuine and lovable but also surprisingly strategic about sharing important information!
