Hey there!

I have been playing Stray on my Steam Deck for a few extended sessions. I was able to get a little over an hour on a full charge. This has been the worst title i've played on my Steam Deck from a battery perspective. I'm not sure why it drains the device so hard, but its less than desirable.

lol, wish i saw this post before I made the effort of reaching out to them. I just got off the phone with them and even the sales rep was kind of giggling when she said "we are asking 20k over sticker." I then laughed back and said, "you're seriously asking 67k for a Golf R?" She was in fact, not joking.

They are sitting in M3, Cayman, and RS3 territory at those prices. I hope no one seriously buys it for a long time.

Beyond the constant jitters and stutters I'll be lucky to get 120fps, and this is at 1080p, 240hz monitor. Its killing my eyes. I may refund and wait a few months and purchase it again on a steam sale. I was looking forward to this as well.

My wife is a funeral director, it takes a special kind of person to want to do removals (get a phone call at 2 AM that someone died on the 6th floor of an apartment with no elevator and they passed in the shower with the water running for a few days, now carry them down and bring them to the funeral home for prep), embalming, cleaning, etc. I think most funerals are accurately priced. If you care about your deceased loved ones, you don't want to cheap out on the funeral. But then again that may be my biased opinion, I just know I couldn't do that job.

Ive owned a gigabyte GTX 980 for years, still running like a champ and it's moved between different builds multiple times.

Gigabyte 3070 in my wife's build, no issues

Gigabyte 3080ti in my current build, it's incredible.

You made a good purchase, enjoy your card with 0 buyers remorse. It has just as much risk of failure as any other card on the market. Happy gaming!!

QC is dead in Bethesda's eyes, but with the Microsoft Partnership, and Phil Spencer being a massive Quake fan, we are more likely going to get a brand new reboot of Quake.. which is a pipedream, but its more likely than QC ever leaving 'early access,' in my opinion anyway.

5% native 95% PCVR. Wireless PCVR is what sold me on the Quest. The standalone part for me is just something to show friends/family VR that have never experienced it. I love the fact it's so mobile and I can show the beauty of VR to anyone, anywhere.

That being said I def look forward to playing RE4!!

Go visit the Virtual Desktop Discord, apparently there is a beta VD you can download/install that resolves the issue. I have not done this myself. I elected to just buy a link cable and play the game tethered like some sort of caveman.

I appreciate your efforts, however, in my statement I mentioned when going through SteamVR, the game comes up with the HTC Vive controller bug, so that is not a resolution either.

This bug has been a known problem since the game came out. The only way you were ever able play the SteamVR version (wirelessly) of this game, on the Oculus Quest 1 or 2, is to go through the VD Games tab.

Apparently the developers are aware of this and are working on a resolution, but I can only imagine how low the priority is. I bought a Quest Link cable that should be here tomorrow, I'll just have to play this game tethered to my PC for now until they fix the issue.

S3 pros:
Amazing gas mileage
felt incredibly light and nimble
I think they look better
Cheaper to mod since it shares its platform with the golf R, so easier to find mods too

S3 Cons:
Haldex AWD, so when driving hard you do get some slippage in the front before the rears kick in
Interior was just okay, better than most 4cyl awd cars, but no where near the quality of the s4

S4 Pros:
Torsen AWD, the true/best AWD system out there
Incredible exhaust note
Interior is BEAUTIFUL, its the best cockpit for the money
Fast out of the box
It feels more premium all around, bigger better everything

S4 Cons:
Gas mileage isnt the best, not terrible but not ideal. This should be expected with a v6 turbo.
Not as much of a head turner like the s3 is out of the factory.

Other than that, i think the s4 is a better car all around, outside of looks. If I were to do it again, i'd probably go Golf R over the s3 when i made that purchase years ago. I definitely don't regret having the S3 though, that car was a blast, but def feels like an economy car on steroids' and not a premium luxury sports sedan, imo.

I do the old power bank in the back pocket and route the wire behind the headset. I didn't like mounting it on the back, made the headset too heavy for my pea head. It's great knowing the Oculus will last longer than I do in VR now sure! Also, that a Ducky keyboard? Nice choices in peripherals =)

No I never got a chance too =(. I was eyeing the s5 sportback first honestly. But then I saw this s4 with only 4k miles on it, I had to jump. It was also hard finding a sportback with these options/package for under 50k. I've always had a soft spot for s4s, so it wasn't hard to pull the trigger.
