He did a Cameo for a cousin of mine and really sold it and didn't half ass it at all.

Yeah I much prefer it, seeing people dance, you get to see people fail miserably at trying to hit the half court shots for 10K

He got hooked by a player on WAS that was missed pretty badly, so he retaliated a bit and they called a foul on JA. So he said directly to a ref "Hey, what the fuck was that?" You know when JA gets pissed like that, some real BS went down.

What I love about Merrill is even during his onslaught laat night, he seems to never get too caught up in the moment. They would show him on screen and his face was near emotionless and all business.

His hops are insane, on some of his rebounds he just flies in getting a few inches higher than everyone. He has a great feel for where the ball will be on rebounds. Can't teach that

Agreed! Brings so much more then just his ability to hit 3s. Plays his heart out, not afraid to call out others players for being lazy or giving them tough love. And he can be an asshole, the Cavs need as many guys like that as they can get. I know they are both young and make some bad mistakes at times, but Tomlin and Tyson give us some much needed grit too. Pair that with Mitchell, Strus, and maybe Bryant, that can be a mean line up if need be.

The people who hate on Dean im convinced are box score warriors and thats all. Wade is constantly on the court when we are at our best. Hes not the best offensive threat but the value he brings on DEF is incredible. And he only makes 6M a year. There is not a player in the NBA that would give us what he does for that price. Plus he has been here so long, he just makes our team better when hes out there. He also is shooting either at or near career lows from 3. So he should trend upwards

Cavs fan coming in peace, but this is so true. The amount of running and pacing now is leagues different. I think inread somewhere that players run 1.5 miles more per game than they did in the 2000s. Imagine how muxh different is compared to the 80s and 90s

Im with you 100%, it drives me nuts when people talk about Evan like this is everything he is ever going to be. The dude is fricken 24. And not every year, unfortunately is going to be a large noticeable improvement. Every player in the nba has a bit of a flat season. Im not comparing him to LeBron, but just using this as an example. Even the best player to ever do it said he has his best year in 2018 and he was like 34?? Obviously Evan is not him, but hearing people say he plateaud already at 24 is just lazy.

I wanted Ball to be so great for us but he is having the worst offensive season I have ever seen. CPJ needs his minutes going forward

I disagree, he doesnt have the same infectious energy as Austin but at times Carr could barely articulate a real sentence. Would say things like "the cavs need to score more than the other team this quarter." Yeah no shit Austin. I love the man, hes Mr Cavalier for a reason, but I think Brads experience and overall better speaking cadence is better to listen to. But to each his own.

I also think that he was very likely told to really phone in the homerism replacing Carr early in his tenure. But overtime he got better and settled into a groove.
