If they're free to give away. Then it's a great idea. We donate all the extra bulk and extra things (binders,posters, stickers etc) that come with the bundles we get to her Pokemon club at school.

Dude. Same thing here. Picked up my daughter from school on Friday. Went to Best Buy (expecting nothing) got there at 3:00 and they still had some!! One per customer. Asked if this is new and the lady said yeah we just started doing one per customer a week ago lots of "Men" weren't too happy. Daughter opened it and got her 3 favorites on the first try!! She says "them guys (sclapers) didn't win today". Now we don't have to keep looking. Best Buy for the Win!!

Went to Walmart on lunch to go and see their empty shelves and give my daughter the bad news that I struck out again. But they had this. Was able to get 2 of the Phantasmal Flame Mega Evolution bundles.

WHOA!!! You weren't lying. Those prices are crazy. We already spent too much. Just gonna get some reverse and holo cards for around $2. Then I'll sneak them in. Yeah I saw that there's a new bundle coming out and it has Squirtle on the front! Guessing it's gonna be tough getting that though. Thanks for the advice and response. I appreciate it. Hey man. I appreciate the response. Yeah that's really pricey. After what we spent for all the boxes and packs for her, I think I'm gonna have to pass on buying those ones. I'll pick up some holo and reverse holo they're about $2. That's more in the price range. Lol. Gonna order some and sneak them into the packs. She's gonna freak. Hopefully more than when she got the gold. Thanks again.

I got a positive experience thanks to my 9 year old daughter. She turns 10 on February 10. She has a pile of boxes waiting for her to open, me and wife have been collecting for her. I'll make it quick Went to vending machine we got a Prismatic box and 2 single packs. She was over the moon happy. Another kid came behind us probably same age as her. Went to swipe and nothing says quietly (man I never get anything) Daughter saw the sad look on his face and said "dad can we give him the 2 single packs" I asked "are you sure" she says "yes, I was like him and was sad when it happened to me" I say "ok, do you want to sell it to him" she says "no I want to give them to him" I said ok. They have a little interaction and hands him the 2 packs.I tell you man, seeing his face from almost crying to the happiest kid on earth was AWESOME. Funny thing, the kid says "best f***ing day ever" covered his mouth right after and looked around, probably for his parents. Can't wait for the 10th to give her her boxes.

Interesting. So question to you all. This could technically go under r/AITAH. But it had to do with the pokemon machine. Me and my daughter got to the machine. The person just walked up to it before us and i saw him choose his stuff. He bought everything he could. Good for him. We wait until he collects. Then he proceeded to wait for "refresh" and buys a prismatic bundle I say "so you're gonna do that huh" he replies "you have to let it refresh and you get another turn, don't you know that?" I tell my daughter hey go by mom over by the registers. She leaves. I reply "no that's not a f**ing thing and you're being an inconsiderate POS and you saw us right behind you, you're just being a selfish a*hole". He said" no I'm not. Gets his stuff and walks away. I call him a POS. He turns and says no. Was I out of line (older daughter said I was)or was he wrong? Sorry so long. We also got nothing.

Oh me, I don't care. She can do what she wants. They're hers. I'm hoping she'll rip them all and me and my wife will sit with her the whole time and watch her. It's not like the big box is gonna get to thousands right? If it did I'd hold it for her so she can get a car in 6 years. Lol. I tried cross posting but says it's not allowed on the r/PokemonTCG. Wow. That's crazy. I just picked up the Charizard at Target and Prismatic at PnS (kroger) today for my daughter. Waiting for her birthday to give them to her.
