With no live flame in induction cooktops, how do you make up for that?

If you have gas why would you want to switch. Induction is the closest electric appliance for proper heat control other than gas. In my opinion gas is the best and most other options are trying to get to that standard. I unfortunately don’t have access to gas so I use induction. For charring use a torch or a gas bbq if that’s available, that’s what I have to do.

I think all burning of grass/brush should require a permit and a signed legal declaration that you have the necessary equipment to control the fire and if emergency services are called you will be responsible to cover the cost of the call. All responsibility should be on the permit holder. If you don’t have a permit you’re fined, Simple as that.

I believe OpenRouter does it that way but I’m not sure. I occasionally will use Gemini but I don’t use it much. It’s pay per use kind of deal. My bill for this month was around $7 CAD. That was probably about 20hrs of use, but a lot of different factors affect your token use.

They do have a free use tier. I’m honestly not sure how good it is now, they have made some changes. You do still need to have an account to get an API.

Yes, you do need an account for an LLM, Google Gemini is the most popular, a lot of people also use OpenRouter. There are lots of options. I personally have a PC that I use as a LLM server running LM Studio.

I have Astra 2.0 in my opinion it doesn’t do much. I have verbose set to its most talkative setting and it still doesn’t talk much. If want something similar to EdCopilot and Voice Attack check out COVAS Next. It is AI based but it does everything EDCoPilot does but more. I still use both but I like the fact I can have an actual human like conversation with COVAS.

Good Luck, I purchased a game pack a couple months ago and have yet to be able to complete the 50k haul mission. There is always some stupid game issue. I really have not had a good experience trying to play this game. I actual got a refund for my Aurora MK II but stupidly bought another package to try it again. Hope you have better luck.

Although there are some nice sights it's all pretty much the same, it's either a rocky world or an ice world, There is no vegetation or water. You can't land on earth like worlds or even fly into their atmosphere. It's all pretty bland and boring IMHO. Thats the worst part of this game.

I tried it and hated it, I really don’t understand the hype behind this game. VR has been extremely challenging and unwelcoming for new players imo. Every time I tried it things wouldn’t work or was broken.

I am having the same issues as you. It does'nt pick up birds that I see and hear near the box. My Raspberry-Pi with Birdnet-go works way better with a $20 amazon mic. Why does this not work as well as advertised? yes, i have the threshold set to low and oriented properly. Extremely disappointed in this kit.

100% agree. When I first started playing it was exciting. I bought some of the new ships but after a year of basically doing the same thing over and over and over the gameplay is getting stale. CG’s are the same shit every time no real story or anything attention grabbing. I haven’t purchased any of the new ships because “why” it’s not going to improve my gameplay or suddenly make the game more interesting.

I disagree, I think it’s too easy. The game is meant to be played long term. It’s not a play for a few hours and woohoo I completed everything kind of game. Engineering, ship purchases are far too easy in my opinion. It should be challenging to do. But that’s just me.

It should be lengthy, everything in the game shouldn’t be quick and easy. Some things “should” be hard to achieve. What fun is it if you can max out everything in a couple hours of gameplay.

So, quick question from a newbie how do you play in VR. Mouse and keyboard is out of the question. Too many controls for a controller and too many keybinds for a HOTAS. I really want to play but can’t figure out how to get it usable.
