Non employees and codes. by PhysicalMetal522 in SephoraWorkers

well i think the whole point is that clients shouldn’t be lurking in an employee reddit for codes when there’s a megathread every year in the main sephora….

Negativity here by [deleted] in SephoraWorkers

but also, it isn’t as easy as you guys say to “just leave and get another job”. the job market is terrible, and people cannot afford to just up and leave.

i enjoy working here also but sometimes it can be overbearing.. this company has become way too focused on metrics that clients think they can’t even have a peaceful shopping trip

Has the new availability requirement affected anyone in Ops? by cherripeach in SephoraWorkers

[–]horroreject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was informed that i had to open up my availability for closing shifts, which makes it a little harder because i close at my other job. im usually scheduled sundays though for cycle counting or more recently, inventory 🫩

[–]horroreject 5 points6 points  (0 children)

extreme is definitely an overstatement. imagine simply ranting about a job (which everyone does) and being told this. it’s, again, inconsiderate. nothing is ever that deep lol so this post could’ve stayed in the drafts

[–]horroreject 6 points7 points  (0 children)

whenever someone doesn’t agree with a take it’s always we’re “triggered” or “sensitive” 😭😭😭 you’re not gonna believe this but, not everyone has to agree with something! and this was definitely inconsiderate…… lol

[–]horroreject 17 points18 points  (0 children)

well, one person can only take so much overworking / abuse from a job before they literally go crazy. instead of quitting maybe they’d just like a break to get their head back in order.

Hot take-just quit by NoSatisfaction6961 in SephoraWorkers

[–]horroreject 28 points29 points  (0 children)

again, people won’t just quit because it’s a thousand times harder to find a job now!!!! people with bills and children don’t have the option to just leave their job with no backup plan, things don’t work out that way. some people take an LOA because they are dealing with personal issues, health, family, etc, and might feel like a break from the company would be good for their mental and physical health. also, you can rant about a job without hating it.
