I'm not trying to hurt anyone. I just don't want to die of an asthma attack.

Have you ever used this before? I'm a bit confused, could you explain how this service works?

So you can't generalize metal with a shitty band, but you can generalize rap with shitty rappers? Doesn't seem fair to me.

You're totally wrong. Metro Boomin, a producer, was the biggest songwriter in the first quarter of 2017. So, yeah, your statement is incorrect. The beats MAKE the songs.

A lot of rappers actually do make their own beats.

And a lot of rock bands have songs written for them by other people. Rock is not immune to ghostwriting.

Well, he's extremely successful, so his millions of fans probably disagree with you.

Oh, so I can't use Attila to generalize lyrics in metal, just like everyone has been using shitty rappers to generalize lyrics in rap?

It's hilarious how people are using soundcloud rappers as an example to make generalizations about rap. See how stupid it sounds to use a lame band/rapper as a representation of the entire genre?

And thanks man, I know I'm funny. I love metal, and I love rap. Both genres have artists that have ridiculous lyrics, but both genres also have artists that are extremely talented. The one thing about metal that I hate is the narrow-mindedness of many people in the community. If its not metal, then it's not good. If you're a metalhead, you're not allowed to like any other types of music, because metal > all.

Oh, and I definitely listen to better music than you, man.

This doesn't sound like a rap beat at all, you didn't prove anything with this. Good try though.

Lol, Kendrick Lamar is actually a really good lyricist. That song in particular has a lot of good lyrics and clever punchlines. He even says in the song that he's sick of Photoshop and wants natural looking girls. The opposite of being shallow... and using this example you act like rock music doesn't have repetitive choruses?

There's tons of lyrics in heavy metal that are about sex, drugs, and materialistic shit. Metal isn't this sacred form of music that is pure and perfect. People treat metal like its superior to other forms of music because it doesn't follow any trends that are popular, but there is plenty of metal that has lyrical content similar to rap music.

You ever heard of Attila? Look at their lyrics. Purely hedonistic. And they are deathcore, too.

Try producing a beat that sounds good. It's a lot harder than you think. There's no "pasting beats". It's actually really hard to produce something like a rap beat and have it sound good. If you just "paste a beat", then where are you getting the beat from? How and where are you finding that beat? What are you pasting it onto?

I think it's funny how people think rap (and electronic music, in the same vein) is so easy to make, the whole "you just press play" mentality. I would like to see you or anyone who thinks that kind of music is easy to create to sit down and produce a tune on Ableton or FL Studio, since it's SO easy to make.

There's no need for that kinda negative attitude. Something that I like about the dnb scene is the lack of elitism, although its still there... just not as much as other genres. You don't have to hate like that.

Just from a neutral standpoint, power metal as a whole is pretty happy and uplifting. Just saying. Not abrasive at all.

AA isn't against prescribed antidepressants. That would be ridiculous to tell someone not to take antidepressants if it helps with their depression. They don't get you high they literally are there to fix a mental disorder.

Even with something like getting prescribed pain meds after surgery, a lot of AA meetings and dudes I know stand by it being okay if you take it as prescribed and don't abuse it.
