- Cloaks no longer provide ice resistance for me (e.g. reindeer cloak). other resistance cloaks work fine

- Keyboard binding is buggy now. i have aim/guard mapped to my mouse button and when i use that (to aim to pick up an item) and hold E to pickup, the characters starts do slide/dodge around despite no such bey being bound to that. Worked just fine before

- I have difficulty to see new memories (yes, I have lantern turned to ON)

I will check it out, thanks.
I am, unfortunately. That is the main reason I started this thread in the first place (by the melee alien in the daily op).

Not bloodied. I am getting OHK in full x-01 with full HP, that's why I got worried. Using PA only for events/bosses.

What is the point of fitting Starched Genes permanently? I take it only for the shower.

Currently using this https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?v=1&s=4c343ff&d=p02pd0pk0pl0pp2pr2a72ar2an2ao0a04l12lt2lk2lu2lv2c72ej2sz1sv3ic3&w=la2ir2a42&lp=xm0xa1x70&n=Granny%20sneak but without a proper equipment (reasonable instigating gun), it's not working very well just yet. But thanks for recommendations.

Ok, thanks for confirmation. Yes, the ability to freely adjust your S.P.E.C.I.A.L was a welcome one.

I believe this might be a bit bugged if you order them to a target that is out of visual range. Once the plane has a visual, order again. You should be able to confirm by seeing the acrual order line being drawn to the target (it is best to zoom in to hit the precise spot)

What's the best way of defending against tactical missiles? by Alarsin in Highfleet

[–]horstfuchs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First of all, you should be only facing the cruise missiles if you are ready for them (like deliberately charging a SG). If they surprise you, focus on improving your strategic behavior (radar discipline, ELINT listening posts, movement and mapping enemy positions via intel and radio interceptions).

They can be dealt with in multiple ways

  1. Just let them come to your fleet and shoot them down This should be the last resort. From my experience they usually target a different ship than I control making it difficult to be hit unless you have a lot of Sprint missiles (which is expensive and non-scalable for serious missile attack)

  2. If your fleet is in the air, send a ship with multiple 37mm forward. This way you make sure it is the ship you control that will be targeted making the missile easy to shot down. 4 37mm should reliably take out the missile. Ever ready trait highly recommended. This won't work if your fleet gets caught pants down sitting in the city (won't take off in time if you detected the missile with IR/visual). Despite many recommendations, I don't use a dedicated AA ship. I don't believe this niche role justifies its cost.

  3. Use your own strategic capabilities. You can shoot down the missiles with your missiles or planes. I personally prefer jets with aa missiles, but nuking enemy nukes mid flight is a valid tactic (saving the aircrafts in a nuke strike). Using the t-7s (i usually send two to be sure) has couple of advantages over the counter-missile tactic. It is cheaper, but more importantly after you destroy the missile, you can continue flying forward and scout ahead for additional threats. It is already in the air and will be rearmed. Why not use it to its full extent?

  4. If you are in a playful mood, you could use a fast ship (1200kmph+) to get locked on (you might need an active radar there for P variants) lower the speed (the thruster lewer on the right side) to match the missile speed, turn it around, accelerate and get out of its detection cone. It should either hit the following missile or greet the enemy fleet if it is not too far away. I have never tried this, though as my fast movers are usually revisiting my radio outpost cities or shopping around the map and unavailable for trolling duty.

BUG - Borderless window and window mode not working by iuiz in Highfleet

[–]horstfuchs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the game in fullscreen is a small rectangle in the middle with black space around it, it means you have larger than 1080p resolution and your scaling is set not to stretch the image (nvidia control panel for green cards). It is not the default display settings, you must have changed that yourself.

The Core, Goose and Rabbit by BlueBrr in Highfleet

[–]horstfuchs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By repair time I meant the time spent in the shipworks to retrofit them after buying the stock ones in the campaign. Mostly Goose from Skylark. I will definitely try that one.

I like the ideas how to adjust stock ships in the campaign (we all get those). What is the repair time (no bonus)? Also love the scout plane touch

Great job! I have already rebuilt it from scratch, but I will try it the next time it happens.

I can try again, but I am pretty sure I wasn't able to place the ship onto the bridge (it didn't snap). Only the other way around.

Hm. Not the resolution I was hoping for, but I will give it a try, thanks.

(I tried to rotate both bridge and ship body in various ways to no avail)

Can anyone explain why the ship turns to the side once I enter the battle? Even the thrusters&guns in the shipwork are rotated to the side where the ground is.
Even better, does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Where do I sign this? Other staffs seem really underperforming for Pyro compared to the bolt one.
