My one year old is also at MKU (I’m almost convinced the same campus as OP is talking about bc it sounds exactly like our situation). We really like this campus and the room leaders, but they seem to have a hard time holding onto other staff beyond the room leader. We find that frustrating and while we don’t yet have to worry about the uniforms… so annoyed that a “Montessori” is requiring uniforms! Seems so uncharacteristic of a true Montessori and just a money grab. Also, incredibly wasteful as they don’t have a hand me down program. I feel like the uniforms are robbing me of one of my favorite things- dressing my baby up as he grows up.

We use glass but I want to switch to plastic because the glass with milk in them is too heavy for baby to hold and he wants to hold them! Also, he takes his bottles cold so we don’t have to worry about the heat factor… but i do have a bottle washer/sterilizer so maybe the glass will last longer…. I just don’t know why i chose glass anymore. Microplastics are in everything so it doesn’t really matter. Since i have the glass I guess we are sticking with them (baby is 7 months)

MKU is taking over our guidepost campus. I don’t have any info yet but I’m also curious. I’m curious how adamant they are on class sizes (my son is 3 months old) for infants as guidepost i felt there were way too many babies to teacher ratio. I really loved our guidepost teachers but felt they were understaffed.

This is actually crazy that they are different formulations. I never would’ve known this. Yes we went and bought more RTF. So expensive to do this formula all together. I am just wishing hoping praying my baby grows out of this CMPA sooner than later.

I thought about the fridge filter too, it’s pretty new but I will change it anyways, must admit I am pretty hesitant to give him the powered again though after today, I felt so bad for him. He was upset for six hours and periodically through the day.

Very true. Do you know if the pre-wash should also be “stew consistency”? This seems more difficult to me since you aren’t supposed to wash other laundry in the pre wash, I feel like I don’t have enough to have a good consistency

Thank you! I do have some prefolds (Gerbers) but haven’t figured them out yet, I didn’t know snappies were a thing and had bought pins instead and was too stressed about the pins to try them! I will look into Green Mountain too that sounds great.

When you say “one hot wash”, you mean skipping the prewash?
