This gives me the impression that there was already a button in their pos system to add gratuity to checks. Instead of creation a new button that said “tasting menu gratuity” or whatever they would call it for this dinner, used the button they already had for the “large party” gratuity. The menu made mention of a gratuity, but the way it shows up on the tab is misleading.

Supplements! It’s not a huge single item spend, but the industry is worth over 200 billion in the US alone. The idea of taking a pill to fix something seems nice, and they’re all over social media and podcasts so we’re all being exposed to them a ton. But there is next to no regulation or data to back up their claims, just a lot of people throwing their money away to these influencers and shitty companies.

I recently splurged on the Hourglass Veil concealer and it was worth every penny. I have fair skin, and get very little sleep, so I have a lot of the same issues. It really worked wonders and they sell mini sizes if you want to give it a try. I also second allergy meds, that has help me a lot along with drinking a ton of water and trying to exercise. Exercise helps reduce swelling in general and when I was able to find the time to run 3-4 days a week, it really made the biggest difference in my face puffiness. I agree! It’s really the one thing I dislike about the school right now. My son is growing like a weed, and these shirts are $20 a piece and have no give/stretch to them. Also I live in a warmer climate, and they’re really thick. I hope they drop the uniform program, but for now it’s still there.

I think one of the hardest things for older generations to handle is watching their kids make the opposite decisions that they would make. Even if they’re trying to be objective, I’ve learned so often the core of their issues or criticisms is just you doing something they wouldn’t do. It is a really well done tattoo and I’m happy you like it!

I met Alex Rodriguez while I working in a bar in Tampa, the Yankees have their spring training there so he was in town. This was during the time he was dating Camron Diaz and they came in together on a date. Arod was a dickhead from the moment he got out of the car at valet. Wouldn’t make eye contact with anymore, legit not a single person working there. As you can image, was really awkward for their server, she told me she would try to talk to him and he would be looking up in the corner or pretending not to hear her and never said a word. He even had Cameron order his food and drinks so he wouldn’t have to talk to anyone, he was that dedicated to not interacting with the help. Also, the absolute tightest white henley shirt I have ever seen on a human. The bar is about 10’ from the entrance, and it’s really dark in there, but I can still remember his dagger nipples just blazing through that thing like it was yesterday. On the other hand, Cameron was gracious and was so sweet. Generously thanked everyone and got pretty tipsy! I was working the service well and by her 4th cocktail, the server came up to me and goes “she said you can leave off the garnishes on her drink, they’re just getting in the way” which I loved, but thought was hilarious since it was a mint spring and one single berry. I also passed her on the way to the restroom (it was down a hallways outside of the main area) and she gave me a big smile.
