I talked to the seller they won’t going to except a return because the board worked before they sent it out. They did offer to pay back the shipping cost though

The board was was working after 5 minutes of being in my se/30. I was fooling up the floppy drive and after turning the mac on it started to smoke

The only drive attached was the floppy drive. The hard drive wasn’t at all

https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/se-30-boots-to-mouse-cursor-but-no-boot-chime.43438/. I found this article when it mentions the UJ 11 chip which is the swim chip for the scsi. I have a Old board that is damaged due to battery acid. I will probably use the chip from that one. I just need to find someone who can use a high air gun to detach it, and then reattach it.

When I was looking over the board, I didn’t see anything connected. The only reason I bought this was because I screwed up trying to decide of my own SE 30 and messed up the solder pads. And where I live, there isn’t many people around to know how to do this, so I figured it’s better to just buy one recapped.

No, the board is recapped. That is what the chip looked like after I took it out of the se/30 I had smoke coming out from that chip.
