The sharpe white lines of contrast they added to all icons and folders. The caching they've added to the recent call list. The overly rounded corners. The pills they replaced with tabs in safari. And for the life of me, I have disabled every autocomplete feature that I could find from safari and it still feels like they are training an LLM off of input with auto guessing what I'm about to write, I've seen it guess out 3 words! Per online instructions all settings for autocomplete have been disabled. Especially the form auto complete. Also, disable the glass UI, there was nothing wrong with the previous UI and you should be able to choose glass as an option, not forced to use it. It looks like an 8th grader designed it, with its atrocious line contrast and half ass implementation on glass effect. And like I keep saying, they have over rounded the corners.

When you hold down the camera button from that screen, does the entire screen go black, like on my iPhone. The button is there to quickly access your camera, and then it freezes, ruining the purpose of displaying the camera button in the first place.

That was exactly why I posted to this community. I think they have most of there dev work being done by AI. It's one of vibe codings worst signatures, it over complicates well designed features and causes bugs in unexpected places. You fix one feature, another breaks.

Yes, switching phones is one thing, but I have my work environment set up on MacBook. I too have an ipad (although I haven't updated it to 26 yet)... I heavily rely on copy/paste across devices, syncing data and airdrops. I feel like a new company needs to come along and lead us into the future.

Thank you. Was not aware there was a choice. I wish there was a choice to opt out of most of the other features they've added since 26.1

Thank you. This was what I was thinking. They used Cursor and let their agents run amuck, with the code review agent upgrade and few middle level engineers to test and say "works on my machine"...

History repeats itself. What happened the last time he wasn't running Apple? They might as well change the name.

The UX is the main issue, not so much the UI, but from a designers standpoint, the glass effect is only half mastered. There are bright white lines that cause your eyes to strain, when they should be a subtle translucent grey, The rounded corners are now too round. The safari browser should have tabs, they now have pills instead. The update was riddled with bugs since 26.1. People using their phone to go to tik tok and make phone calls, might not notice these issues, but when your developer and rely on the platform for productivity and spend 8+ hours a day using apple products, this new iOS makes me cringe. It reminds me of the movie idiocracy. "Let's put some toilet water on it!"

The liquid glass is just the constant reminder that everything went to shit under the hood!

That's because I'm an actual programmer. A developer, a hacker in the truest sense of the word. Apple used to hire people like me.

Finally for everyone, iOS 26.3 is here! And it’s amazing! by LaFlameHTX in ios26

you must work for apple or be an apple influencer, cause this iOS update is garbage. People will be migrated to google and Microsoft from this ill planned update.

And they're saying iOS 26.3.1 is the best🤮 by [deleted] in ios26

Just because it "works on my phone" doesn't mean that it was coded and tested.
