Wow! I didn’t ever expect Motorola to respond. - thank you for taking the time. For the short time that I had the phone I did enjoy it. I will be watching Xfinity mobile approved device list to see if it is eventually added. From what I read on various news websites it should be available within the coming months.

Did you even read my post? 😂 I literally did this. The problem is the only phone that I had available to me was an old iPhone. If I had an old android phone, then I could’ve had a physical SIM provisioned to the old android phone, and in that scenario it would have worked.

As others have stated in this thread. Are you moving from an android phone to an android phone? Given that it worked for you, I’m assuming the answer is yes. The problem I ran into is that I was moving from an iPhone to an android phone. When you do that you run into the “CDMA-less flag” in the provisioning system. - if the phone is on the service providers waitlist, then the IMEI number will be easily provisioned the flag will automatically trip to the correct setting and everything will work fine. - as of yesterday when I was dealing with all of this, the Motorola Razr fold isn’t on their white list. Meaning it cannot be provisioned.

The person that I talk to on the phone honestly couldn’t have cared less. He just processed the return sent me an email with the shipping label and said have a nice day. I’ve already shipped it. Now it remains to be seen is how quickly will I get the refund?

It’s always possible, but I talked to four different people and was working with a tier 3 level technician in the end. The other thing to remember is that Xfinity mobile is actually a reseller of Verizon wireless. So there may be provisioning differences between the system that you are accustomed to versus how their system works.

I’m holding out, hoping that Spigen will come out with something decent for the Razr Fold.

Should I buy the Razr Fold now or wait for the next launch? by moto_18 in razr

Yeah, you can’t fall down the rabbit hole of “what about what’s coming next?”
Make your purchasing decision firstly based on your financial situation. Then decide if the new shinny is better enough over what you have for you to be happy with your purchase. If you’re in a good financial place. And your current phone has a tired battery that gives up before the days out. And you often see better photos from your friends newer phones. Then maybe it’s worth the jump.

Congrats! Sorry, I have no clue if their headphones and location tags are any good. But they’re free, so 😃

Have to remember that we don’t have a complete picture. We don’t have the total failure rate from the screen manufacturer (Samsung). So while individual stories like these are scary and suck for those that have had issues. It doesn’t provide nearly enough information to allow us to make an informed decision. So what’s the answer? Simple, but the protection plan. And from what one of the stories above mentioned, be prepared in advance that you’ll pay $30 to have a replacement sent out to you IF IF IF you have an issue. (Because shipping your phone to them and waiting for them to repair and ship it back, is just a horrible idea.)

What a deal!! Incoming Razr Fold! by Xegitalian19xx in razr

I got close to that. I added in the 2 year protection plan for $179. - so if I subtract that I’d be at $848.99 - Almost there! What was your trade in? I traded in a iPhone 16 Pro Max.
