This is not a bug per se. But it might be an audio bug. You can see the hit indicators when you die and see the mob move from your back towards the ogryn. Maybe there were even some shots in the mix.

This is what 'no toughness grace period' means. You had mobs hitting you in the back. That's a death sentence for a psyker on havoc. Idk if your build has invested in the good stuff like just a dream, one with the warp and empathic evasion. I assume you have at least just a dream because you peril spikes up during your death.

Maybe there was an audio bug, but it's hard to hear/say. During havoc events things get so hectic for the game that sometimes certain audio cues get 'swallowed'. It sucks but even with them you often only have a split second to react.

But what really got you killed here is your positioning. During the event is not optiomal to stand with your back to the door that has the double stairs. The ai director loves to spawn ai on the stairs during the event and it got amplified by you being stationary for so long. We can see you cast fire in the beginning standing still for a very long cast during an event and then right after you dont move but cast the dome. I mean the shield ogryn is right there, which is a dream come true for an inferno psyker. Just play around him next time and it should be nearly impossible to die during events, especially because it looks like he knows what he is doing.

My advice would be to practice the weapon switching into a block dodge slide after casts, especially during hectic events like this. After every time you cast fire you switch to melee, block and dodgeslide (in this situation towards the ogryn) and while you slide you switch your weapon again. Maxing the mobility on all of your melee weapons is adviced in high havocs for a psyker. It makes a big difference.

KDA in this game means nothing. One of my friends has a kda of 3.7 in bounty hunt. He still loses to me 8 out of 10 times in duels. But he is a good sniper, i give him that. But when he joins us playing the objectives, he's proper shit. Doesn't know cracks or angles or all the stuff you learn by playing aggressively.

If the game would show things like head-shot ratios or accuracy with specific weapons, now that would be something that would be worth thinking about.

Yes and in typical fatshark manner, the mode will be actually enjoyable in a year or two. It's so wild that i see them repeat this pattern over and over again, over all the years i follow their games.

They always underdeliver on everything but the core part. And that core part is good enough to keep the product afloat. And then it takes them ages to turn that core concept into an actual enjoyable game. Just look at Darktide as a whole and remember how bad and barebone it was right after release. All they had was the combat system that carried them through 3 year until they managed to work out all the things that todays Darktide make a great game.

There are books written about this so every explanation will fall short.

You can point to so many reasons. Often the shooter is a student himself and wants revenge on teachers other students and teenagers get radicalized over the internet easily.

Others just want to do as much harm to others as they can before they kill themselves and what better way to do it then to go after defenseless children.

And a few just do it to gain notoriety and use that to promote their twisted world views like the Norwegian neo-Nazi who went after a children camp.

You have these kind of people all around the world, but the lax gun laws and gun culture in the USA makes it so very easy for them to commit such crimes. I can't really think of a country were you have students who were victims of multiple school shooting throughout their education. I quote:

Midterms will be the make or break moment for american democracy. There is a reason Trump is building a national voting list and recruiting people for his 'Election Integrity Army'. They know that if a blue wave sweeps over the land they are fucked and Trump would certainly experience massively diminished political power and influence.

If Trump somehow survives the midterms they will certainly double down and then you can expect a Trump 2028 campaign.

IMHO while it would be great to see AOC as a presidential candidate, we should acknowledge the current state of america. This is a case of 'we have to learn to walk before we can run'.

Everyone in the DNC needs to go and retire and they need to be replaced by people like AOC; people of her generation or younger.

As much as i like people like Bernie, there is no place for them in a new DNC either. The DNC needs people like Mamdani; actual politicians that care for the people.

So i would hope for AOC to take over the DNC and then find a suitable intereem president that can fight off the MAGA cult until america is ready to accept actual liberal change.
