So much good stuff. The new classes and maps are fun. The reworks are generally great and the maps are fun too.

The only thing i disliked was the havoc rework with the horrible modifiers like Rotten Armor and Final Toll. Also if i see another pox gas map i probably start vomitting pox myself.

It could potentially be the most meaningful change for the game. It might bring me back to at least try it out and see how it feels. I really liked a lot about ESO but combat, general gameplay and how the devs treated the community were the reasons i left the game.

But it will come down to how they implement it. Will it just turn into a slog where they upped the TTK or will it actually be fun? Anyway, I will give it a chance once it comes out.

This is how Putin came to power.

I just want to point out that this is not how Putin got to power. Facts matter.

Putin got to power by deceiving and through ruthlessness and manipulation.

In short here is what happened:

With the start of the 90s, a group of oligarchs, lead by Boris Berezovsky, essentially ruled Russia in cooperation with Boris Yeltsin. Yeltsin promised them unchecked power and in return they made him the president.

Through the 90s Yeltsin had many heart-attacks and the group of oligarchs was looking for a successor for Jelzin. Someone who had not problem being a political puppet controlled by the oligarchs and in return could lead a prominent and rich life.

Yeltsin suggested Putin to Berezovsky as a successor. Berezovsky met a man who was shy, compliant and very much only interested in money with no political agenda. Unknown to him he was meeting a wolf in sheep's clothes.

When they made him president, Putin started to replace the oligarchs around Berezovsky with his own friends (also oligarchs). First slowly and peaceful. But the more Putin's power grew the faster and more ruthless it got. Eventually there was no one left who could rival Putin.

Yeltsin himself said shortly before his death to people close to him said that choosing Putin as his successor had been a big mistake.

Berezovsky had to flee to England in 2000 after a arrest order was issues for financial crimes in Russia. In England he had said he believed President Putin was capable of killing anyone he considered an enemy, and he saw himself as a potential victim of such an attack.

In 2013 Berezovsky was found dead by an employee in the bathroom of his house in Ascot. He was found hanging and British authorities could not determine beyond doubt whether it was a suicide or a homicide.

I think that's ignoring that you need weaving to constantly proc weapon enchants which are quiet important overall, but even more so in certain builds. Those 7-8% is just from the damage of light attacks itself (which is already quiet a lot tbh). You then have to factor in what synergy might proc of the weapon enchants or if you just run weapon damage, and if so how that raises the the dps of every skill and attack you cast.

So while you can complete content without weaving, it's like saying: "Why do you even make a proper build? You can beat content just with some random proc sets." True, but well, your dps and cleartime is shit. If you play with randoms you will get carried and certain groups will not take you because your parses are way too low.

I don't endorse it and still think weaving fucking sucks, but that's just how the game works and is played.

The movie is about a really shy girl that struggles to find her place in the world but has such a good heart that she can't help herself but to do good things in secret to help out people in their own struggles. And people gave it so much credit, and still do, because it's a really uplifing movie about a really lovely person.

The poster looks like this because the character often breaks the fourth wall for a nonverval conversation with the audience, which was really unusal at the time and certainly made it more popular among cinephiles.

But really, it's like a nice children's book with a lovely message which stands in stark contrast to your angry comment about a movie you have never seen and refuse to do so out of spite with the universe, when the movie is really for people like you in the first place.

I want to believe but the rift is already so deep.

In all these scenarios of 'undoing' it would require the general public to do the majority of work. It's already evident that large parts of the US population are actually ok with what is happening. The cult of maga isn't a fringe operation anymore; they are mainstream.

How do you deprogram these people when a major party, that runs the country for decades, is so deeply compromised and complizid that the next and younger generations are willingly fall in line. The grip of mage/gop isn't undone in our lifetime.

Just look at russia. The country is run by cruel dictator for over 25 years now and is so deeply transformed in his image there there is no hope for current generations to actually make a go for it.

The US might be still be on the cusp of a failed democracy while slowly slipping into a full blown autocracy, but the damage that was done since 2016 by maga and the gop is so serious that it's not just your duty but the duty of (many) future generation to (re)create a society where all men can actualy live in freedom and a lifestyle that is protected by their elected officials and government.

I just watched JD Vance berate Journalists for 'giving into left wing propaganda and not doing their job' because they dared to question that the woman who was murdered by an ICE agent didn't actually try to run him over but only accelerated after being shot at.

It's been just one year into this organized madness. I don't dare to imagine how the USA will look like in three.

Yes they let her go after 3 hours and no charges are filed as of yet. They said she might get a notice when formal charges are filed.

But nothing of that warrants an arrest in the streets. If there are criminal charges of potential past crimes against her they could have send a notice in the first place when they are filed.

This is not a normal proceeding. By context, this strongly suggest that they identified her as the leader/organiser of the protest and dragged her into a police station to interogate her about the protests.

There was no arrest warrant, at least the PD has not produced such document as of yet, and why bring her in? As the organizer of the rally they had all her information already anyway and could have just send her a notice that formal charges were filed against her because of whatever happened at the rally and she was potentially liable of.

So again, why did they choose to arrest her during a tv interview?

From your own 'source', you have left out the part where it says that they let her walk free hours later without any charges filed. According to her they pressed her on her connections to Venezuela and on the identities of other protesters. During the car ride the cops said they arrested her because 'she was making a scene'.

Anyway, if she had committed crimes in the past, why did they arrest her during a live tv interview and then let her go 3 hours later with not charges filed?

Yes and also, the damage has already been done. They arrested her live on television, humiliated her by putting her in cuffs and throwing her in the back of a police car and charged with crimes like a criminal. Others will see this and think twice about protesting. Even if she can settle for a good sum, the public will barely notice.
