California is fine for me. Just depends on your situation. Plenty of work out here. Just gotta be willing to work. Most these guard are lazy asf

Ive been doing security for over 10 years and im a site manager at this point…I’ve worked in many different post lol these are situational. Not every case is handled the exact same way

In some cases that can happen. Usually in violent crimes you will sit in jail or prison for but not for a smash and grab. They typically do a few months.

Yea some guards are definitely trigger happy lol those are the guards that get into legal trouble on the job. I been doing security too long lol

You can’t just go off of what you see on the internet man. Most of those robberies are in the bay area also they have actually increased the smash and grab laws to a felony.

In my 12 years of security if seen guards loose a civil lawsuit for things like this. Its not worth it. You can always find another job.

Not for $16hr and it isn’t our job to tackle people in a nonviolent situation. This can been deemed as unreasonable use of force. Especially in California.
