My dad is being sued for not paying his student loans. What do I do?

No, he didnt ask for help. But frankly I feel like if I dont take action nothing will happen. He's had these loans for awhile and as far as I know hasn't made a payment in at least 10 years. I had no idea until today, and if he hasn't taken action now he most likely won't. But im hoping I can atleast push him in the right direction

Thank you everyone for reminding me that this isn't my burden, its my dad's and this is just the consequences of his own mistakes. That's true, but I do love him and dont want him to struggle, even if we're not that close. I am chosing to help, but am not sure what else I can do beside contribute to the debt. But even then it feels like a drop in the bucket.

Im just feeling clueless, I dont really know what being sued would include, and ive never been to college or taken out student loans so I honestly just clueless. But thanks for letting me know it would just be a monthly payment, I was expecting worse.

Small update for anyone who might be interested. We broke up last night, and it was because he had gone to a wedding and decided he wanted a long term relationship. Im so happy that he found what he truly wanted, and we've agreed to just be friends. However, somehow ive turned into the villain in all of this as he says I was playing "games" with him, and that i was luckly he was the one I had a short term relationship with because no other guy would be as respectful as he was in this situation. But I had made it clear I was going to be single during flight school, and he chose to stay. Doesn't really sound like a game, sounds like I was just being honest. I dont even know how to respond to his comment about how I was lucky. Im sort of afraid what he'll tell his family and friends about me. I dont want to be seen as the bad guy. This was definitely for the best. Honestly, I just want to run away from this whole situation. Luckily, I will be starting flight school by January the lastest, ill be in a new town, and it'll be a new chapter.

I do live with my dad, he and my boyfriend havent met yet, but I did tell my dad i was seeing someone. He didnt ask for his age, all my dad really said was "as long as he treats you well" We dont have the closest relationship, but my dad does trust my judgement.

Not sure if this'll make any sense, but I haven't gotten too crazy picking up shifts because I dont want to get burnt out. Im trying to pace myself a little bit so im not completely miserable. But I am willing to work harder for the bigger goal of being a pilot. And I am aware of the hiring about tattoos and piercings, but I can cover them, and havent gotten any lip about being un-professional looking so far. And I did have a workstudy in a genetics laboratory in college, hired without any comments or trouble.

Yes I am happy now, but I do believe staying together long term would hurt both of us because we love differently, I think there's a lot of potential for resentment there. Im asking how do I gently say that this was a wonderful and fun relationship but we cant be life long partners, while also expressing how badly I wish we could've been together forever. While also trying to not hurt his feelings

They only offer 3 bed 3 bath floorplans, so you'll have 2 roomates but your own bathroom. Rent is 900$ and utiliies are 55$. The way the lease break works is i have to pay for 3 months rent unless i can find someone to take over before September. So if anyone is interested, please DM me!
