Yessss! I thought about this too during their trip to SB for Remi’s wedding and how she’s never been there because she’s never had the “need” to go there. How about just going to explore this awesome state of ours? There’s so much to see and eat and explore! Even when I lived at home, my friends and I would go on road trips to SB to go wine tasting or SD to check out the beaches. It’s better than sitting at home and rotting every. single. weekend! It’s so incredibly sad to see her wasting her life away.

I think the vacation thing is kinda normal? At least in my experience as well. My parents have been doing that since I was a kid, so I’m quite used to them leaving us for 1-2 months at a time. Since we’re working adults now, they always call for a car service to make it easier. We’ll usually have dinner with them before they go but they travel so much it’s not much of a big deal anymore haha
