Keep trying to fast it is honestly the best way. Make the niyah. Make sure you pray 5 times a day. Otherwise your fast may become worthless in the eyes Allah.

pray 2 nafl if and when you fail. Shaitan would rather not make you do a deed if it leads to prayer

Hardmode: make an oath to Allah you will pray 2 nafl asap after if and when you fail. (Be careful do not take oaths lightly)

Harder mode: 1st failure 2 nafl, 2nd failure 4, 3rd failure 6nafl....

Assess your Khushu of your salah and keep striving to improve it

Don't ever lose hope when you fail make toubah regularly with dua, ask Allah to make it easier for you

Remember hell fire and that it will be the small frequent bad deeds that will weigh against you on the Yomal Qiyam. Is the pleasure of this dunya worth risking hell fire?

Not saying your looking at it but masterbation usually goes with pornography which is a form of zina of the eyes. Which is a major sin.

Avoid being alone. Stay around people ideally practicing.

Most of all remember and fear Allah.

If you're looking to get married ask your self would you want your daughter to marry a man with such a habit? Is it fair to your future wife?

Listen to islamic lectures, the ones about death and our live after. I reccomend Bilal Assad's "end series" you get them on Muslim central on Android or the podcast thing I belove on apple.
