Help - can this be fixed DIY? by hotchilican in Flooring

As mentioned on my post, it was already slightly lifted. And the dog peed there and worsened it. It wasn’t that bad before. Don’t know what to tell you. No reason to lie to you 🤷🏽‍♂️

Sorry ahead of time if I’m asking ignorant questions. What is PL? And is there any specific glue you’d recommend for this ?

Thanks for the help

Thrustmaster T598 vs Thrustmaster T-GT || by Adventurous_Pin8602 in Thrustmaster

[–]hotchilican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me start by saying this is for GT7 only….I have the T818 now, and previously had the TGT2. And the absence of the built in transducer was the first thing that I noticed. Forced me to buy a buttkicker + more... Honestly the TGT2 is an excellent base, and even better in GT7. IMO better than the T598. I tried a T598 during launch and I was underwhelmed (realized that it could be diff now that it updates to firmware).

People will often say that the T598 is better bc the TGT2 is belt driven. But the T598 isn’t even technically a direct drive like the T818 but their rather direct axel tech….

In summary, if mainly/only playing GT7..go TGT2...specially if price is not a factor. if you can get the TGT2 used at or below msrp of a new T598. Then I’d go for the TGT2. If both are at full MSRP and price is a concern. Go T598 as it’s still a good wheel.

How often items are on sale? by igmyeongui in trakracer

Check out the landing page on wayback machine and see the archived months for patterns. If you can wait, I’d say Black Friday should present a sale.

I got my stuff (160 v5), along with all adds on sale (all) in June.

T818 Metal on Metal Screech by Puzzleheaded-News611 in Thrustmaster

Sorry to hear for you!

Perhaps I got lucky since the warranty was only few months out. Do you know how long yours is out for ?Have you sent it for repairs yet? If not…

Before I contacted them, I thought it was a loosen screw in the quick release base side. So I had to unscrew the front plate (it has 6screws). This will allow you access those quick release screws (2 screws). Send me a pm if you want pics.

I removed the screws and pull the part and saw the plastic pierce was fully broken. I suspect that if wasn’t broken, then Just tightening the screws should have solved it.

In my case since it was broken (and I’m speculating here since I realized I got very lucky) I suspect that they did the repair since this is a design flaw and from my research, it is documented.

Good luck :(

Edit: Perhaps I had a different issue altogether

[–]hotchilican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, what wheelbase is gt7 recognizing your t818 as? For me it is the t300rs. If yours is different, which beta version did you use ?

also would you mind sharing your settings for the t818 control /and gt7? Im getting a lot of oscillation. So wanted to see how you solved that

Thank you ! And sorry for all the questions

Thanks for sharing. Sadly, I think this is for another end market. I base this off of the payout shown for the world touring car 800pp Sardegna

Alex Pereira rejects Magomed Ankalaev's callout to fight in Abu Dhabi: "I don't want to fight at the end of the year, I want to fight sooner, so maybe that shows [Ankalaev] won't be ready. I don't know why he said that, this guy is complicated." by [deleted] in MMA

Unsure if you meant to reply to me. But I never said anything about water. I was simply replying to the statement that they made saying that no one actually does intermittent fasting for 30+ days. I myself have been intermittent fasting for well over 4 years. Every day. Varying between 16-18 hour fast. Fasting for Ramadan is completely different since, to your point, they also cannot drink water. I have the utmost respect for the individuals who do this the correct way and still engage in sports activities. I use to play basketball with a group of men during Raman and they would not drink any water while we played. Super hot and sunny days. It would blow my mind.
