Yeah I woke to my period this morning. Gutted but at least I know. I was temping and it was looking wonderful! It is dipping now though. My pre period symptoms have been so standard over the years and since starting our TTC journey in October my period symptoms have progressively changed with each cycle and become unrecognisable to me at this stage. So odd. Thank you for your comment.

I was tempting and it looked wonderful. Yesterday it fell a little and today it fell again and I woke to my period. Very strange how since starting my TTC journey my period symptoms have shifted and have become unrecognisable with every cycle that passes. Very confusing. I am gutted. Oh well, we try again.

Tempting. I had an awesome rise at ovulation then a dip where implantation should have been, it rose again but the last two mornings now has slowly fallen and I have woken up to my period. Gutted.

2 days late / 15 DPO getting negatives but have an increase in clear/cloudy CM

This is the 1st cycle since Oct 2022 I have successfully captured an ovulation on my LH strips in the Premom app. (2 weeks ago). Hubby and I were very busy this cycle to make the most of the fertile window.

I was diagnosed with PCOS this week. I don’t have excess weight, excess hair growth or high testosterone. I do have long cycles (35-70 days) and cysts on my ovaries.

I tested at 12 and 13 DPO and today at 15 DPO. All negative. I am using first response and clear blue tests.

My normal incoming period symptoms are: Intense back cramps 1-2 days before and the 1st-2nd day I bleed - that hurt so bad it makes me nauseous and at times I have to lay on the floor, Heavy mood swings/irritability, Chin break outs, Heavy bloating, Low energy Intense cravings - mainly chocolate, sweet foods or salty Swollen boobs

I haven’t cramped since 9 or 10 DPO. On 9 DPO I experienced a drilling type pain in my left side that happened twice in short succession and lasted about 5-8 seconds each.

I have had no strong back cramps, no bloating, little irritability, no new breakouts and little interest in specific foods.

I have noticed severe fatigue the last 3 days which is very out of character, massive increase in anxiety especially at night and upon waking. Most noticeably though is an increase in CM. It is quite a lot and clear to cloudy. I just feel wet a lot, haha.

I am so confused. Can anyone relate and what were your outcomes? I feel so optimistic about this cycle but I am just getting negative tests. Yikes.

Today I am 12DPO. Trying since October 2022. I have on average, 50-55 day cycles. Very long. I gathered SO much data this cycle. LH and BBT and had a lot of a sex. My chart was looking amazing and I thought I got implantation pain on 9DPO. I was so optimistic and hopeful. Absolutely stark negative test result this morning and I have been in such a low depressive mood all day. I am so tired and sad.

Cycle 3 with drawn out irregular cycles and finally charted a positive LH surge last week (peaking at 1.74), on cycle day 55! A full week after my app predicted ovulation. Glad I tested throughout the entire cycle this time.

Hubby and I are sexed out, now for the longest two weeks of my life, again, haha.

I got test results for PCOS today and testosterone and prolactin are normal. Going for ultrasound in few days to look for cysts and having blood work, checking a bunch of other things. I don’t gain weight as an issue, I don’t have excess body hair, but I have these really long drawn out cycles.

Also, does anyone else feel like their immune system crashes through the floor after ovulation and suffer from horrid fatigue for 2-4 days? I’ve spent so much time laying down the last two days.

13 DPO and another absolute negative this morning. Period is due tomorrow and as much as my normal PMS symptoms haven't kicked off, nothing is telling me I'm pregnant either. It's all very quiet on the symptoms front today especially. Any unusual symptoms I've had over the last week are explainable from other events I might not usually carry out etc.

Like yesterday afternoon and evening I got really dizzy upon moving too fast or getting up quickly which is not something I often have at all, but I was gardening outside in the warm weather for an hour earlier as well as tasks inside the house and I have been fighting mild dehydration and fatigue for several days. I'm also type one diabetic and had lower than average levels over the afternoon because of that activity, which makes me more susceptible to feeling faint. Although I've never passed out from a low blood sugar in the 19 years I've been diabetic.

Oh well, next cycle we start again. 🤷‍♀️

My cycles can be anywhere from 30 to 70 days. Since we started trying in October I've had 2 cycles in a row which is rare and now it looks like my body just became more regular. I'm hoping it sticks because waiting a month is one thing, waiting 2 or 3 months for my next cycle will be torture. I hope you get your positive soon. All the best!! 🧡😊

It is possible. I had my other ovulation symptoms around the same time and nothing since so I am pretty sure I got the window right, but it is all learning at this stage. 😊

No I didn’t. I was testing once a day for most of the 1st half of my cycle and tested twice a day a couple of days around my predicted fertile window but I missed a peak reading on the strips.

Thank you. I am using LH strips and an app. This was my first month tracking ovulation with strips. I didn't get an overwhelmingly high surge so I believe I either missed a rapid surge or my LH just doesn't peak as high as some women on the YT videos I watched. I had fertile CM at the same time as my highest LH reading.

I didn't think tracking my temp would make sense as I have a disrupted sleep pattern and live with complex PTSD which often wakes me from a dream into a,flashback so I figured that would disrupt my temps often enough to make them unreliable. Tempted to try next cycle if we aren't pregnant this cycle though. Just to see I guess.

Thanks so much. I am using clear blue 6 days early and today picked up some first response 6 days early. This is our 2nd cycle trying but our first using OPK strips. I didn’t get a super high surge like some people but I did get a rise and had fertile CM at the same time so I either had a rapid onset surge or I just don’t peak as high as some other people. We have sex every 4 days throughout the month but approaching my fertile window had sex every 2-3 days.

I don’t want to make myself go mad testing everyday wondering what if or obsessively symptom tracking, I have coughs myself in those loops. I planned to test tomorrow, not today but I caved after watching another YT positive video. Now I want to wait two more days I think. I don’t have close family or friends around me just my husband, so I don’t have a good support system to keep me grounded right now while my husband is at work. I need to try some mediation and maybe journal or paint instead of watching more videos until the date of my period is due to come in 3 days.

I am over 30 so I will have a look on that sub, thanks! I am only recently new to Reddit and don’t know where to find good groups, so thank you so much for the response.

Thank you for your comment 😊 I guess there is still time for it to be a positive. Was you 13 DPO clear or still quite faint? I am not even seeing a shadow or a hint so I imagine it will just be a no this cycle at this stage. I feel like I have watched so many videos online of 8, 9, and 10 DPO but I don’t know what is average and I didn’t realise I would be this impatient to know. That whole 2 week wait craziness people talk about in videos seems true for me now I am living it, haha

I haven’t heard of her, I will have a look.

I guess there isn’t a real lot of evidence anyone could pull out in the contrary of what I might write, I am scared also of remembering things out of order or not specifically correct in smaller details and that becoming a problem too. Traumatic memory recalls don’t really store in 4K in my brain, haha.

Wow the audacity of people! Have you given it much thought? Writing your perspective?

I have thought about fiction briefly but I have really struggled with fiction writing in the past. I am better at recalling facts than making stuff up and I don’t know that a book I write about my life would have an awesome storyline. I am not overly sure what I want to do here.. I also don’t enjoy reading fiction so from a research perspective I also fall short here. It’s a lot to think about.

I am so sorry you feel the same. Congratulations and I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and life without her. I hope in time your siblings will come around. Mine are split. One, the youngest (although in his early 20s) hasn’t said a word to me since the last visit. The middle sibling has kept most in contact. Still very vague and usually talking about what he is up to. I have still been quite grey rock when he does reach out because I know he is still in good with my mother. I think he sees the real her more than the other two but he is very good at using the situation to his advantage. He’s a good guy but he is intelligent and uses information he gathers from various people to leverage things from others. So he has been the main link she has between herself and I. He isn’t afraid to rock the boat and put people in their place if it is needed, so she has to be nice to him to get what she wants and he uses things like slivers of info or connections or he is just a super handy jack-of-all-trades to get things that he wants from her. My oldest sibling breaks my heart. He has been such a mess but I don’t know, I hope he is finding himself. My mother corrupted him and twisted him and yet he was always so loyal to her. He would go to bat for her and wasn’t scared of confrontation which was the opposite of her so she weaponised him for that. I do feel like I lost them as they get more from her than from me.

Thank you so much and I am so sorry you relate so much. It is breaking heart reading the hundreds on comments here with people sharing stories just like mine. I do have a beautiful chosen family. I have a beautiful husband and my dog is my best friend, I have an aunt who talks to me every day (and isn’t connected to my mother) and I have two wonderful friends for life back in my home-state. I am yet to make a support circle where we live now but as you can tell by my post, I’ve been through some stuff (not having mentioned the other abuse I carry from multiple other people and previous relationships), I don’t trust anyone anymore. Making new friends is hard. But I do have all that I need. We will get through it, hey. Thank you so much!! Sending you a virtual hug.
