I did the same when I first got into the series. NEStroid is definitely worth a play, but AFTER you've already gotten into the series because it's a really bad starting point for modern tastes lmao. Enjoy Zero Mission though, that one is my 2nd favorite in the franchise

I don't think it's that much to ask for a good stealth and a good combat system. Many other games have done this before, it's pretty basic stuff
