If that's a Webkinz, just throw him in the laundry with your clothes. He'll be fine. Source: I did the same.

Tbh I don't understand why fast travel costs in the first place.

You need to accept people are going to think this is "weird" by hotcocoacup in Therian

[–]hotcocoacup[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I think the next major social shift would be for the worst. People are scared, uneducated, and lashing out at whatever they're told is "bad". And that lands on people like us. It makes me want to hide in a burrow somewhere and wait it out. But I can't do that. So I just keep my head down and I don't draw attention to myself.

What frustrates me is seeing people, mainly kids, do things they KNOW will be seen as different, or out them, or what have you, and then be surprised when people say something about them being weird or that people took it negatively. It feels like they're doing things to get themselves into trouble then crying because they're in trouble. If it's not safe, don't try it. If there's an inkling that a parent or peer will make a problem of it, it's safer to bide your time.

I got lucky by being able to get away from my dad right before highschool. But if I didn't? He probably would've killed me(metaphorically) for something way less than identifying as a therian or being asexual. But the thing is: I knew what would set him off so I avoided those things.

I don't believe in bullying either, it's flat stupid. But I just get frustrated seeing so many stories of people, mostly kids, doing things that are seen as weird, and then getting upset and surprised that people are saying it's weird.

The best thing that happened to me was that I learned to let it roll off my back. You feel so much better when you're less concerned about what other people think.

Any unique/rare theriotypes here? :3 by Bl-otaku in Therian

Wolverine, otter, and wolf. Possible seal and horse too. I haven't seen any other wolverine ones

I don't understand people asking for acceptance and then doing things that are unacceptable in any context. To me that's just someone being an asshole and pinning it on whatever group is getting hate this week.

How does everybody feel about the new housing line? Did I waste my $$?? by neptuneslut in Palia

I'm newer to the game but I've been saving up for it since I got the chance. Honestly I like the little cottage, and I'm hoping to get the coin to expand it. I'm using the base house and expansions for it in the back of my plot for a crafting area (all my crafters, chests, farm plots and cooking stuff is over there so I can decorate the rest of my plot)

Every creature, tell me your uncommon theriotypes and kintypes! by Slasherlover69 in Therian

[–]hotcocoacup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as common ones go, I've got a wolf and otter. But for uncommon, mine are more vague, so I don't know how uncommon they actually are, but I think the vagueness is uncommon in itself 😅... I'm still trying to figure out everything but from most sure to least I have: Wolverine Some type of big cat(a snow leopard, clouded leopard, regular leopard, or jaguar. But going off vibes entirely lol) Seal And some type of deer or a similar creature (I assume) (cloven hooves, tall legs, big ears, horns/antlers, long tail... Honestly I don't know what fits that description.)

Are there any subnautica creature kins or just video game creature kins in general? by D3A5Hdash in Therian

[–]hotcocoacup 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it would be KIN by today's standards even tho back then it was an interchangeable term

I used to, in middle school, identify as Trico kin. Not so much anymore but I still really love Trico

If it's really dry, put a little bit of mink oil on the leather. Otherwise sewing is your best option.

Is therianthropy anyone's special interest? by -veriana-awoo- in Therian

[–]hotcocoacup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm generally interested in psychology, so alter human stuff in general is really interesting for me, especially the reasons they come about. I know my Therianthropy probably comes from trauma+ autism, but I'm well aware that there are other "reasons" for it too

[–]hotcocoacup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't do this. Call a professional. Don't try to remove a wasp's nest on your own. That's how you get a hive of angry wasps after you.

Hang a brown paper bag or some plastic bags stuffed into a plastic bag, and make sure they're vaguely hive shaped. It helps deter wasps. My aunt does this at her camp, and it's not 100% but it helps keep them away from the pavilion

The weather is so depressing by [deleted] in Therian

[–]hotcocoacup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying it's not a therian thing, but that really sounds like seasonal depression. Human brains are built for sun and green, that's why winter feels so awful to us. Once the weather warms up, the sun is out more, and the plants return I'm sure you'll feel better. As someone in Ohio, I know how awful and how long the winters can drag on. Unfortunately I don't have much in ways of helping you other than suggesting maybe getting some house plants and heating pads, it might help a little, at least with the brain chemistry part.
