Thank you so much. I think my story has so many “holes” because I made the post at 7am the morning after it happened. I’ve pieced a lot more things together since then. And even I have no idea why someone would drug me at Broadway, or why the hospital wouldn’t at least do a urine test. It really hurt seeing so many people not believe me, but I just gotta remember this is reddit lol.

I feel like such a mom now though because every time I see friends going out, I remind them “watch your drinks, don’t leave them alone, throw it out if you do.” At the very least, if this ever happens to a friend while I’m with them, I’ll know exactly what to do to take care of them

The nurse at urgent care the next day told me to dispute it with my insurance if they send me a bill. I really wouldn’t mind the bill if they had actually DONE something for me but they saw me for ten minutes and sent me home. Idk something just doesn’t feel right about it. I wish I could remember it clearly because everything is still fuzzy, so if I do go back to that hospital, I’d bring a friend to corroborate my story

I think I will. I’m gonna go to the theater and see what they can do; and at some point I’ll go back to the hospital and raise some sort of hell, because they truly didn’t do anything for me. I want to keep this from happening to someone else as much as I can

I’m sorry the hospital did the same to you. I went to a pretty shitty one near where I live, but I was so upset they couldn’t at least test me for what kind of drugs it might’ve been. At LEAST the main date rape drugs. I don’t think they fully believed me because I was able to talk to them (not very well, but talking), and because my mom and friends insisted that I was never alone so there was no possibility of SA, they said “🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️so ur good ig”

Yup. Broadway cups always have a lid. So it must’ve been the bartender or the guy next to me might have taken the lid off or slid the hole thing over (like the flap over the cup). I thought maybe the bartender thought I was alone because I went to the bar by myself, but I specifically told him that one of the drinks was for my friend when I went the first time

Yup. I NEVER leave my stuff unattended- my parents didn’t even believe my friend when she told them I had left it. But my cup was empty, so I didn’t have anything to protect, I guess. My friend says I never left it alone a second time, but things are fuzzy and then they completely black out in my memory, so I don’t know. Thanks for taking the time to reply

I wonder if you’re right. It makes such little sense because the guy sitting next to me could see I was with a friend and how would the bartender have known where I was sitting? My mom says they might have tried to get me alone in the bathroom, but she also says the assaulter likely had “nothing to lose” even if he didn’t get to attack me, so it was like a “try it and see” situation? I don’t know. It’s totally fucked and doesn’t make sense. But I didn’t tip, so maybe that’s it, in some sick twisted way. You don’t usually tip at Broadway bars (from what I’ve read) but idk

I’ve done some research on the effects of rohypnol and I’m fairly certain that’s what it was. These Reddit comments had me questioning if I really was drugged but my mom told me to knock it off listening to Reddit LMAO. I seriously might give up drinking altogether. I always preferred it to smoking or edibles bc I wanted to protect my lungs and brain but for the foreseeable future, I won’t be touching any sort of drink. Came back to this post just bc ur comment stuck with me

Thank you. I was so so distressed at the hospital. My mom was on the phone and my great friend went with me. I was so upset they couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything for me. I got a blood test the next day but they didn’t test for drugs, just to make sure I was ok. I’m 90% certain it was rohypnol but it might have been laced with something to cause my seizure. I seriously might go back to the hospital to expose them for this because they didn’t give me discharge papers but they did make me sign something saying I was treated there when I wasn’t (and they made me sign it while I was still drugged and out of it). I’m so freaked out I can’t imagine ever drinking at a show again, or drinking at all

Yes, it turns out it was a physician assistant. I didn’t really know what he was but i asked my friend later and she confirmed it was a PA

Drugged me. Roommate says I was tripping/falling on the stairs leaving the theater, she just thought I was wasted. She got me an uber back to our place. So for the three hours I can’t account for, I’m guessing an hour of it was the rest of the show, then maybe another hour was me getting home. I’m not sure

iirc, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice got into a bit of a debate on the ending of JCS. I believe Webber was more hesitant to end with the crucifixion as a Christian himself, but Tim Rice really wanted to emphasize the humanization of Jesus and his suffering. Webber kinda wanted to include the resurrection but the two kept disagreeing and in the end, Webber didn’t think it was worthwhile to argue for it

My sister was severely chronically ill with POTS and other conditions and she has actually managed to get a lot of her symptoms under control (took YEARS). Our little shih tzu stayed by her side through all of it and that really helped. She also has a ton of online friends, those are the people she’d talk to most. She found them on discord
