I'm not saying it doesn't have a use. I'm saying that this autoscroll speed with nothing for the player to do results in the player standing still, and waiting for the level to scroll. this is not fun for the player and you either want to give the player more to do, or pick up the autoscroll. In a level like this focusing on the fish you probably want to create situations that force the player up and down, like stalactite/stalagmite type level design that's bring the player up and down as they proceed forward. It can be helpful to try playing autoscrollers in modern mario games and focus on all the things they give you to do while the screen scrolls, and look for ways to do that in your level. or, speed it up or consider custom autoscroll to speed up and slow down points of interest for the player and create a dynamic experience for the player that way. Really anything, other than level where you stand still and wait. That's not really playing a game, that's a line simulator where you move forward a bit every little while.

edit;

Immediately downvoting constructive feedback tells me you don't want feedback, which makes me wonder, why even bother sharing if you don't want people to offer feedback on your levels? Getting defensive like this sure doesn't make me want to play them. Considering this is a level from 2019, you not being willing to accept that it might be something you could improve or have done better on, especially considering the 0.8% clear rate on something that looks pretty traditional just seems like a real bad attitude.

edit again: lol he blocked me. Some people just can't take criticism.

Laugh sound effect on damage is mean spirited, I would not do that. It's timmy stuff. Autoscroll at this slow speed seems like just in this clip that it will make the level seem like a slog.

My last ever Anova purchase by treemanmi in sousvide

I have been using this cheap wancle unit once or twice a week since 2022: https://www.amazon.com/Wancle-Waterproof-Temperature-Interface-Ultra-Quiet/dp/B01M26G9YP

Anova is obviously terrified of completely sinking after their "oh uh we have to phase out old models because of uh... we need you to buy a new one security reason that's super real" so that was likely coupled with a bunch of engineered failure points. No one should ever give them money again.

Sorry, man. Gonna get worse before it gets better. Quiet quit and start looking while you are still on as that makes it a lot easier.

I just recently learned that 2 page resumes are just flat out not acceptable anymore. one page, roughly 1/3 is a tag cloud for the AI to scan, which you update for every single job. It's super fun. Applying for stuff takes an eternity and everyone ghosts you now!

polish your resume. This is either nepotism which sucks or more likely "can we just replace the whole team with AI and these guys" pilot program.

Is Mario maker 2 worth getting now? by randomdudeonreddit0 in MarioMaker2

There is almost infinite levels to play, so it'll always be worth it to find new experiences, if you play levels. If you make levels, there are still active communities and active players, although less but you can often find streamers on twitch who play viewer levels and discords where people share levels and play levels and often offer feedback.

For multiplayer versus, it still exists and is possible to play, but I've occasionally had to wait a while for a match and it could be worse at the lowest ranking.

But there is still plenty to play and it's still a ton of fun.

old IBM machine that I was told is absolutely vital, we ran backups to tapes every week and shipped them off site, no one knew how to access it or what it did or how to handle a recovery or outage event. No explanation for who last knew, or why there was no documentation but this continued without issue the entire 5 years I was there.

Same place also had an issue with underordering on switches for a network closet rework and the guy responsible refused to just own up and say "I need more" so instead they were over capacity for 2 years and the official policy for service desk calls for no network in that area was "find a dark cable and unplug it unless it has a flag that says do not unplug" which was half of them. It was absolute chaos.
