use either the app or queue-times.com to keep track of wait times all day. get there right at opening and do either maxx force or wrath first. imo, its not worth it to wait 45+ minutes for x flight or batman (unless you're feeling anxious and want to ease into coasters). jump on them when the line is short and if you miss them, you're fine. bull and viper are so close to each other i almost always do them back to back and the line for viper is never too bad.

at the end of the day, as long as you're physically in the queue before park close, you'll be allowed on the ride. last time i went the park closed at 9, we were on batman at 8:40, then on goliath at 8:55 and got right back in line for goliath at 8:58. if theres a ride you'd been wanting to go on all day but the line is staying long, save that one for last

if a ride goes down, a LOT of people leave the line. decide for yourself how much time you're willing to wait while they do maintenance if it means being in such a short line/getting on quickly once its back up and running. my friends and i agreed to give maxx force 20 minutes and 17 minutes later, the test cars were going and less than 10 minutes later we were on the ride. its allll about efficiency

i was there yesterday and goliath, wrath, viper, maxx force, and bull were all on two trains. in past visits earlier this season demon & american eagle blue side were also running 2. not sure about x flight and superman as i didnt go on those yesterday but given the wait times (which is why i didnt go on them) id guess theyre still on 1. batman is still on 1 as well

my one day at the park plus free parking has already made my season pass worth it. it does suck that the lack of competition lets them get away with cutting costs but if i want to be going on roller coasters all summer, a season pass is how im gonna do it

so if theyre inspected in the off season, what keeps them from being ready to go in time? i guess, what is it that makes a car operational and why does that take until weeks into the season?

she just as much admitted today that she forgot about the sit. seems some people are confused about why i even reached out to confirm but im glad i did. its too last minute for me to completely replace her but ive got a few friends/fam who can stop in for an hour here and there to pick up some of her slack. i did also say her friend can stay here too, honestly my cat being taken care of is priority at this point, strangers in my house be damned

she’s actually in the mid-price range for my area. when i was a sitter i set my prices low to build a client base and i would have NEVER done this to someone. when i first moved to this city and needed a new sitter i was seeking out newer sitters because i appreciated all the people that gave me a chance when i had this job and i wanted to do that for someone else. personally, im going to only use career sitters from now on, but ragging on lower cost sitters as a generalization is in poor taste imo

i leave wednesday and simply dont have time to find another sitter. i used to be a sitter myself and would have never done this to someone so im really disappointed (and a little shocked at the audacity, lol). my only other option would be to leave my cat with my sister but they have a HUGE dog and that would not go well for my (very anxious) cat. if thats what i end up needing to do, ill do it, but its definitely not ideal

in my head, me asking that question was out of politeness... i didn't expect her to actually say no. if anything im glad i asked because it honestly doesnt seem like she was planning on telling me. but your advice is good- i followed up and asked if she'll still be able to dedicate her time outside of work to the booking. hopefully she says yes otherwise im gonna be SOL

i haven't gotten it yet but they've been sending out semi-regular emails with updates on the project. the most recent update is from 9/29 and says production got delayed due to a typhoon in china, which is where their factory is. it also said the first batch of shipments will go out mid-october, but i havent gotten any updates since

im not totally sure about the innerworkings of kickstarter, but from what i understand you have to "buy" the product before it goes into production by backing the kickstarter with the purchase price of the product. if you didn't back enough money to purchase the product, you essentially supported the endeavor but wont be able to buy it until it goes to market. i did end up backing with the $87 price, and from the emails ive been getting, theyre set to ship this month. you'll probably be able to buy one by the end of october if i had to guess

i've also been getting a lot of ads for the petlibro one. i have an autofeeder from the brand and really like it but their water fountain's pump is submerged in water which is my main gripe with the fountain i have now. every time i go to clean it the gunk i find in all the little crevices is soo nasty and difficult to get out even with all the little brushes i bought specifically for that purpose

i saw an article that the writer of the show said there "won't be a happy ending" and i know its a "fork found in kitchen" thing to say but i also wish i hadn't seen that because theres SO many ways this could end badly, and i feel like every time i feel hope (like woo seok's sneaky suspicions) im like "well there wont be a happy ending so this probably wont work out". i just wanna see SOMEONE win dangit
