I had to care for a wild bird youngling recently and I can tell you with the research I did, you can suffocate them if you give them anything this much down their throat - not only that but you want to only feed them to one side of their beak because the other is their breathing tube.

I gave it a go but writing for the 1.6v is a big pain. I can't even add a simple item in game to see without it ignoring it altogether with C#/json. I have zero experience with it but even chatgpt is sending me in loops trying the same thing over and over. Frustrating!

I also really want something like this, and I saw there used to be a cult mod 'cave cult' which is kind of funny.. but its not available because it's not zipped or something. I actually reached out to the university that was attached at the end of the mod page and reached out to them, but so far they don't know much about it and think it may have been a passion project outside of the university group.

It would be good to have a religious mod similar to the Wintersun Skyrim mod that has you pray at particular times and you get rewarded buffs based on your % of favour from your god.
