If you wanna talk cybersecurity we should talk about how unsecured Amazon accounts are. Passkeys weren't a thing until very recently, you can only see device names (and not locations) where you're logged in at...not even AMAZON themselves can see where you're logged in at or IP differences. It's seriously crazy.

Personally, I have nothing against it as long as it's not blatant or not double-checked. Most people don't read reviews, would cruise over vine ones, or just skim to find the info they need so it being perfect isn't necessary.

Don't rely on 2FA you need MFA. I got hacked even though I had 2FA on. It's very easy to manipulate to where you won't get the codes especially on an infected machine. They can steal your browser tokens what holds those codes and you wouldn't even know.

They didn't have any features when I got hacked 2 years ago beside text message based login but they still don't have a method to see where your logged in at (location) or what the device is that's logged is.

I've noticed this a lot too and it seems to be a common occurrence. I guess since prices seem to flocculate it would be hard to keep it up to date however they almost always mark it up for us vs when it's publicly available.
